<p class="MsoNormal">I finally got my computer situated. I picked up a wireless
router and a USB network adapter. Ok I&rsquo;m not going to lie I was hoping that
once I installed the software and plugged it in I'd pick up a signal from a neighbor
who might have a wireless router and didn&rsquo;t encrypt there signal. I&rsquo;m wondering
if its possible for that person to find out I&rsquo;m using their signal. Onto of
that can they into my computer since I have remote access enabled. </p>

If they havn't limited the number of DHCP connectioned that their router distributes, AND if they don't look in the router's configuration to see which addresses have been assigned to what comuter.. then no, your neighbor won't know your copping his broadband ...

<p>Is your next door neighbor the owner of that Chinese place?&nbsp; You just can't stop fucking those poor immigrants can you ag?</p><p>And piggybacking off someone else's signal is FUCKING RUDE.&nbsp; Pay for your own shit and use it, cretin.</p><p>EVERYONE REMEMBER THIS!&nbsp; There are ACTUALLY PEOPLE out there INCONSIDERATE ENOUGH to just hope they'll get a signal from the guy next door.&nbsp; They don't give a FUCK that illegally using the neighbor's connection will slow it down considerably.&nbsp; </p><p>Encription of your wireless router is IMPERATIVE to keep people like ag from spanking his shank portion on your internet connection.&nbsp; If you need your wireless option, please encrypt.&nbsp; If you just use it as a regular router, turn off the wireless signal.</p><p>And just as a personal example, I pick up 5 other signals around me, none of them encrypted.&nbsp; Very unsafe.</p>
