After listening to Don Geronimo, a 47-year-old veteran DC area radio personality, reveal on Tuesday's WJFK-FM show how he often dresses up in "superhero" costumes - Batman, Spiderman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - while at home alone, we officially revoke the "DCRTV 2005 Person Of The Year" honor we awarded him in late December. OK, just joking. Yeah, we realize that 2005 was a tough year. But really, Don. Get some help.....

One of the oddest moments - in 1992 or 1993 a lesbian couple wanted to get married on the show, complete in Star Trek uniforms, in the WJFK parking lot - with Don performing the ceremony. One of the women, however, used to be a dude and had a sex change years earlier. I think I have video of that somewhere.

I'd rather have hope in my soul than soap in my hole...

I don't think it's much of a stretch to tag him a "fucking loser" in this case.  Even if he somehow put on the funniest, greatest radio show of all time, this would still be pretty pathetic.

It's one thing if he's doing it as a joke or for a radio show/event or he's got young kids and he's trying to amuse them, or hell, even if it was some kinky sex thing...but the blurb said he does it when he's home alone!  That's downright weird, man...I keep picturing him sitting around lazily, watching TV, wearing a Batman costume for no reason at all.  And it terrifies me.

It must be an age thing cause it still sounds like a good time to me. It's just a result of him having NOTHING.  So he either makes this up or brings it up on air for the 1st time to create a buzz.  Sure, we're talking about it, but I don't think this is the kind of thing that will have more positives thatn negatives.  It's just gonna make people look at him weird.God they're fucking hack zilches.

What's missing from the DCRTV article, is that he said pretty much that exact phrase to describe himself (not fucking, of course--maybe f'ing).  It's a bit out of context, and was an entertaining story if you heard the whole thing.  The key being he has lost a lot of weight and he could fit into these costumes, now.  Things he hadn't worn in years, things his wife had made for him for halloween, radio stunts, etc...  He was going through his closet trying these things on, one after another leaving the previous costume on the floor and trying on the next one.  At which poing his cleaning ladys came in.
