I know it will be almost 3 months since the last game but we all needed a break from the post-holiday madness.</strong></p><p><strong>But...here it is...as requested.</strong></p><p><strong>Date: Saturday Feb. 25th</strong></p><p><strong>Time:5pm</strong></p><p><strong>Place: Here (Kenilworth NJ)</strong></p><p><strong>Buy in: FIFTY (50) bucks</strong></p><p><strong>All who wish to come are welcome. I have a feeling there will be more people coming to this one then any prior.</strong></p><p><strong /></p><p><strong>If in the event that this date does not work for more then 50% of you the alternate date would be the following week on March 4th (the day to go foward)</strong></p><p><strong>Time to let me know who is all in...and who is all OUT!</strong></p>

<p>Just took 2nd out of 63 in a $20 buy-in.&nbsp; $252 more in the old pokerroom account.&nbsp; Playing in the Taj tourney Thursday night 80+20 buy in, like i did last week (where i cashed), hitting up vegas this weekend for the Superbowl, Then maybe take a couple weeks off before the Kenilworth Open...This may be a compulsive thing but these are the events I look forward to.&nbsp; Will someone please bring those brochures again this time?</p>

<p>i decided to go to my first AC tournament 'with Dre' at the Trop on Tue. the 100+20 buy-in. it was fun and a pretty cool experience. as it turns out there was a guy two seats from me who began talking about how well he has done in other tournaments, he was the first guy out at our table.</p><p>an older man next to me disputed a player getting in on the hand because he saw the dealer began to wash the cards. the dealer did have his hand on the deck but it didn't look like he was 'washing' them and the dealer disagreed. the floor guy was called and being two players felt he began washing then the new player had to sit out.&nbsp; the older man(60 maybe) called a few more things he thought he saw but was mistaken. he was still a nice guy and meant well but it was 'no pun intended' getting old.</p><p>there was another dispute, a guy raised from 1700 and then i put 2700 down and said &quot;a thousand more&quot;. i didn't realize you had to at least match the raise. the dealer said i shouls state 'raise' and decided i couldn't put the remainder of the money in to make the raise 1700 so i could only match his raise. After the game the floor person was called and the dealer should have let me put in the additional 700 to match his raise.</p><p>as it turns out Dre had some bad luck with cards and went out around 60th place. not sure how and especially since the best hole cards i got all night was a pair of jacks but i made it to one of the two final tables and was the 17th remaining player, there were a total of 138 players.</p><p>then Dre said i should have gotten something because he remembered the web-site saying the last 18 get prize money when player total&nbsp;is over a&nbsp;120. &nbsp;I ask the floor person and he said it was if there was over 150 players so only the top 9 got prize money. i checked the web-site yesterday and as i read it it says for Texas Hold E'm it's &quot;over 120&quot; for the remaining 18 to get prize money. So i called and left a message and i sent an e-mail to what seems to be the contact person from the web-site.&nbsp; kind of wish i pushed it more when i was at the casino and had someone go to the web-site, we'll see what becomes of it.</p><p>when i was at one of 3 remaining tables this one guy sitting to my right got hole cards &quot;pair of kings, Ace king, and ace king&quot; within approx 5 hands. i just shook my head being the whole night the best i got was a pair of fucking jacks...</p><p>overall it was a fun time, especially being it didn't run til 4 in the morning. the game started 7:15pm and i was done at approx 11:15pm</p>

Well, got back late last night and I had a beautiful time.&nbsp; Miller Lite (who I won the trip from) did a great job putting this thing together.&nbsp; Bally's was a great hotel to stay at for me.&nbsp; It had a lot of things I enjoy and it was located in the middle of everything.<br /><br />Drank a whole lot....it was free.<br /><br />Gambled a whole lot....it was not free.<br /><br />Bet&nbsp;on sporting events legally......did very&nbsp;well.<br /><br />One of my high school friends happened to be out there....hung out one night at the Hard Rock.<br /><br />Went to Body English in the Hard Rock...Girls wear very little in the way of clothes.<br /><br />Flew home with the likes of Doyle Brunson on my plane....He is a gentleman.<br /><br />Had a great time....Katie did as well.<br /><br /><br /><br /><img src="http://img18.photobucket.com/albums/v53/monster6sixty6/guests/sf2_sig.jpg" border="0" />

<p>Just got back from AC myself tonight and did pretty decent as well.&nbsp; The first night I played 1/2 no limit and cleared just under 1k on the night.</p><p>The second night I entered a pretty big tourney with over a 100 peeps which payed top 9 and made it to the final table only to get knocked out by running all in right into pocket aces on the fucking big blind!!&nbsp; Oh well, made a few more hundred and finished 8th overall.&nbsp; Definately could of hung on for a top 3/4 based on the stacks, but that's not the way I play.&nbsp; It happens, and I'd play it the same way every time.&nbsp; Can't predict bullets on the big blind with everyone trying to limp in.&nbsp; </p><p>I heard Sticky did some damage at the Showboat as well on the same day.&nbsp; Looks like the R/F.net&nbsp;alum were giving some poker lessons in AC this Thursday.</p><p>See you on the 4th!&nbsp; </p>

I thought I already did this but apparently not....congrats to Snoogans...yes he not only won the whole thing but also took an additional sawbuck from myself.&nbsp; Everything was great....especially the food which is the only area I did well in.&nbsp; Thanks for everything and if you are on the hedge about whether or not to come to one of these things for the first time, I urge you not to hesitate....good times, good folks, and it appears that its not too difficult to get in the money....good work Heidi.&nbsp;
