Only Hoo Hoo could go from being married and always talking about how marriage was retarded, I guess except for his, to getting divorced and saying he'd never get married again, to getting married again.I care only enough to call him a hypocrite for the millionth time and move on.He is now completely out of my life.  I can't even flip past him accidentally.  Good bye Howard.  May I never hear from you again.

I understand you point Perry, but I'm not letting him get to me.  I'm not one of these idiots who listens to Stern everyday just to have points to bash him on.  I'm not starting threads about him.   All I have is my dislike for him stemming from the disappointment I have in his show.  It gets a little personal when a show I loved gets so shitty I have to turn away from it.  He's not so smart that he's baiting me to listen.  I'm just more than willing to discuss how he let me down.   There is a difference.

 That's all I was hoping to find out in this thread... I never really listen to him anymore (my dad has a Sirius sub, so I'll check out his show from time to time online), but as long as there's a prenup, getting remarried (and divorced again) isn't really a big deal. larry king asked stern if he got married yet. stern says:"when i got back from my vacation in mexico, some news guy asked if we got married down there. i said i will answer that question on january 9th, my 1st show on sirius"so...it's hearsay at this point.boring hearsay at that. (fyi-my quote above is more of a paraphrase than an actual quote, but theres no such thing as paraphrase marks..so...)

He was pretty adamant that Tom and Katie were together solely for that fact that they both had blockbuster movies coming out.  That was very obvious to him.I just don't see how this is any different. He might really be in love.  But you'll never convince me that the TIMING of this marriage isn't just a wee bit suspect.

Pathetic.This was a guy who admittedly locked himself in his basement and jerked off to porn when he was married to Allison.  He never wanted to go out or do stuff.Now, he's a social gadfly, he starts getting tattoos, and he starts dating some wannabe supermodel.  That's been some midlife crisis.

Because the show was in the home town of the FCC, they didn't take anything for granted - there was the NY dump guy,and even a DC dump guy. I've heard other stations also employed their own. Just butchered the show. Sometimes we could catch the Baltimore feed and it will be several minutes off of what was airing at that moment in Washington. I AM looking forward to hearing him - maybe out of loyalty or my own connection from 25 years ago or simply curiosity or because I am a fan of this kind of radio.</div><div> </div>

All of the press releases, mud flung at his family, message boards, chat room plots, screaming of hypocracy, stalking Baba Booey at appearances, "attacks" with signs and airhorns won't change that, and (maybe more importantly) won't be winning anyone over. For people not interested in hearing "the other side of the story," it comes across as sour grapes, and actually reminds me of the conversation R&F were having this week about the Outlaws. I'm not even really talking about other shows here who know how to make THEIR criticism entertaining, but the boring minions who just parrot back what will make them popular with other boring minions. It's not even bashing, it's just repeating someone else's rants.How is my personal problem and few incidents that drove me away from Stern repeating what someone else said?  There are people who parrot Anti-Stern stuff all day, but I don't see it here.

Also, Stern threads go on so long a lot of the time because side topics, like this one pop up all the time and get discussed as the main topic gets ignored.  I came in, saw a post I was interested in, left my opinion and I was basically done with this thread until a side discussion popped up and I felt I should clarify a few points so I wasn't misrepresnted.
