I've watched people play Solitaire, though I've never played it. As an addictive personality, I've always felt it wasn't a healthy thing to pick up. I do like a good deck of cards, though.

It's just like patience, only Spider is a bigger challenge. In stead of black, red, black, red, it's red on red and black on black. Spades on spades and harts on harts. Pretty difficult. In the bottom are extra cards, click em and they refill you main deck (in case you're stuck with your main deck). You should try it, but start at level one. It's pretty addictive.

Spades on spades and harts on harts. Pretty difficult. In the bottom are extra cards, click em and they refill you main deck (in case you're stuck with your main deck). You should try it, but start at level one. It's pretty addictive.
Thanks a lot, I tried this game out for the first time after reading this thread and won (on the easy level). Now I am hooked.

I had a perfect streak going for a while. Games 1 through 35, then I lost. Love that game.

My grandfather in Kentucky used to sit at the kitchen table and play solitare whenever the weather was bad outside. He'd just sit with his little radio playing gospel music and flip cards for hours. He tried to teach me when I was little, but I just couldn't figure out why 1. I'd want to play a game by myself and 2. why I would want to play a game that's "impossible" to beat (in my lil head it was impossible).

He passed away when I was 12, but I still remember him sitting there in coveralls playing solitare.
