2005 Matches of the Year

<p>I used to be a tremendous wrestling fan, watching everything I could including puroresu, WWF, WCW, ECW, etc.&nbsp; </p><p>I've slowly become less interested and have seen almost nothing this past year aside from 2 live events I attended.&nbsp; But two matches I saw this year live were great and made me happy I could still appreciate the sports entertainment:</p><p>1) Samoa Joe vs Kenta Kobashi</p><p>2) Low Ki vs KENTA</p><p>What wrestling did you like in 2005?&nbsp; Did anything else stand out for you?</p>

<p>every match at Ring of honor at inman sports club on the 17 of december. I saw moves and things done in the ring that i thought were inhuman. I cant even watch wwe anymore. the matches were (that i can remember):</p><p>1. Nigel Mcguiness vs. Castigilo</p><p>2. Low ki vs Kenta</p><p>3. Marafuji vs Brian Danielson</p><p>4. strong &amp; aries vs. mamaluke &amp; rinauro</p><p>5. Joe vs Daniels vs. whitmer vs. lethal</p><p>there were a bunch&nbsp;of other matches&nbsp;and not one of them were bad. best promotion around.&nbsp;</p><p>Dirty Old Man who made a pass at me backstage!&quot;</p>

<p>My favorite macth of the year was Mike Awesome vs Masato Tanaka at ECW one night stand. the whole card was good because it reminded me of the old days of ECW. when wacthing the repeat of the event the Edddie Guerrero vs Chris Benoit macth seem to me very slow pace. I was tearing up a bit (but i didnt cry) when the crowd chanted eddie and benoit respectivly. </p>

<p>I'm gonna agree on the Tanaka/Awesome match at ONS. The one night stand was great, Sabu Vs. Rob Van Damme maybe for me.</p>

Mike Awesome vs. Tanaka, hands down. I watch it all the time and it doesnt get old. Best moment of 2005 was when May Young made the universal eating pussy sign during the trial of Bischoff. I love that old broad.

My favorite Mae Young moment was back at royal rumble 2000 where&nbsp; she was in the bikini contest and showed her fake boobs. it was&nbsp;sick&nbsp;yet funny.

<p>I've been to a bunch of indy and underground shows, probably my
favorite match from them was CM Punk's farewell match where he actually
won the ROH title... it ended up not really being his last ROH match,
but it was still a great time cause everyone there thought it was his
last match and then to have him with the title was just fantastic...</p><p>&nbsp;I
just attended the RAW show at the meadowlands last week and i have to
tell you, the John Cena v Kurt Angle first blood match had the most
electric crowd i've ever been in and was just too much fun to be at in
person, especially since everyone in the building was booing the hell
out of Cena...</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
