Technically, money from lotto goes to charities.

Any charity that is NOT related to 9/11 is taking a massive hit. My mother does work for a cancer charity and a lot of companies exhausted their charitable donations this year giving to 9/11 related causes.

It's all how you look at it.

well just the way it's made/produced is so cheesy plying on the heart strings. "We care for people, and we were hurt but remember we're there for you. If you need to talk, need someone to help you get through these times- Lotto's your pal.'

Yea I heard that too, but it's no worse that At&t putting out a commercial about 9/11, and then putting up their corporate logo. It's still a commercial anyway you sell it. You can say that it's to show that you care, or that you want to show you're a company that is sorry about what happened, but I think that's pretty much assumed, and any commercial is taking advantage. But then again, thats their right to do, just as it was the right of the gas stations in the midwest to charge more after 9/11. They're still heartless scumbags, but business-wise it's a good decision for 'em.
