Band Camp? Wait, I don't recognize ANY of those kids. I've seen the fronts of the other movies. Is this a "straight to video" sequal? Wow, he must spend more on cocaine a year than Rick James did.

I know right!? Eugene Levy is some kinda enigma to me... He is in absolute shite, Olsen twins movies and the like....BUT then he's in some of my favorite films ever, writing for and acting in the Christopher Guest "mockumentaries." A few of the best films out there in my opinion....So puzzling. Maybe it's all some elaborate riddle.........or as was previously stated he has himself a habit, or some secret hostage situation happening.

I won't see either of those moves but I guarantee any scene he is in is hilarious. I've never seen the guy unfunny.

It seems whatever channel I change it to, I always see this clown on a commercial for a new movie/movie coming out to DVD... enough man, take time off.

One plus i have to say..that in the Cheaper by the Dozen 2, his character is married to Carmen Electra.

Meoooow(wow that was gay)

Its high time he got his big payday. He probably got shit money for his classic work on SCTV and his scene-stealing turns in those Christopher Guest movies including "Waiting for Guffman" and "Best in Show", so why not let him cash in now. He's riding this wave of popularity and I don't begrudge him one second for cashing in. Call him a sellout? The man never bought in so how can he be a sellout?

Ride this cash cow to the bank Eugene!

I agree- definitely would not call him a sellout! I actually think it's another funny thing about him that he is in so many random crappy films. I wanna be friends with Eugene Levy.

While we're on the subject: How about Fred Willard. He's great in the Guest movies but when he's not doing them, he's playing every miscellaneous little sit-com role he can get his hands on. He usually plays the "new neighbor" or the "quirky relative".
Yosammity

At least Eugene is in some movies that are making money. Some how Cheaper by the Dozen 1 made over a 100 million. So if he can make a few bucks more power to him.

I would say he is doing better than most of the SCTV cast- (John Candy excluded). I checked IMDB and most of them are working but Dave Thomas and Joe Flarety are in stuff you never hear about.

I think Eugene is on some kind of 3 to 1 or 4 to 1 ratio, for every Best In Show we get 3 to 4 shitty movies

or

Maybe hes just getting on in life and wants to cash in while he's got a little heat, Pachino and Deniro have done it why not Eugene

I think Eugene is on some kind of 3 to 1 or 4 to 1 ratio, for every Best In Show we get 3 to 4 shitty movies

=

Good call, sounds about right, and Best in Show does indeed rule. Someone mentioned the staright to video releases, man, I'm amazed at how big this market is, and how 'big' the stars are that appear on these things. 'Big' = eugene levy as example. At one time he ruled as the guy who did the slow burn, but the slow burn guy gets old or typecast and ends up on these things.

Hey I'm guess stright to vid is a lucrative market; you pump out these things Roger Corman style, who admits the idea was to ram his movie down audience throats as quickly as possible so people would pay before anyone realized how bad the flicks really were. And the target market of parents looking for somthing to throw on the tube to babysit the kids, well that's gotta be a huge market, so maybe he's spiraling downcareer-wise all the way to the bank.

=

Guilty Please or sickness: everytime I stumbled on that piece of shit horrific 'Club Paradise' movie, I'd watch the whole fucking thing. I have no idea why. Is it so bad its good just to see how bad?
