Matt Groening ruins Simpsons DVD commentaries

<p>Whenever someone is saying something interesting about the show he interrupts with &quot;wait wait this is a good line.&quot; We have the main audio track for the &quot;good line.&quot; He is nothing but a show consultant, a lot of the comments are about how he didn't want a joke in (it always ends up being a good joke) Most of the things he has to say are on a scale from worthless to annoying.</p><p><img border="0" src="http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.yahoo.com/images/hv/photo/tv_pix/emmys/emmy_creative_arts_awards_2003_photos/matt_groening/emmy.jpg" /></p><p>He has also apparently become a monster.<br /><img border="0" src="http://img490.imageshack.us/img490/1691/hoodyicon25ph.gif" /></p>

<p>I agree.</p><p>I listen to all the FUTURAMA commentaries and Matt is almost completely silent....unless he opens his mouth to add nothing.&nbsp; </p>

I didn't really notice Groening too much on the 5th and 6th seasons. It's David Mirkin that is aggrevating to listen to. He's worse because he stops to listen to a line, and then explains the joke after one just watched it. Plus he's repeating a lot of strories that Al Jean and Mike Reiss told multiple times in the first couple seasons.
