Sweet Jesus Christ, its bad enough I had to hear this fucking awful song when i was in NY last summer, but now, 2 days befor Christmas, I have to hear this shit on the top 40 abomination hosted by those douchebags randy jackson and that blond kid, and Im trying to figure out if K rock was just really ahead of its time or if the rest of the world is just......way behind. I know I shouldnt be listening to the top 40 countdown EVER, but we have uno staion aqui, and that shit is on sometimes. Randy Jackson and his little gay friend can go kill themselves also while we're on the subject, and I'm sick of that fucking Nickback song also. I can just see senor fuckface sitting in the studio for 20 minutes and reading the little deal for each of the FORTY songs and giving the underpaid reject a hard time whjen the transition from intoring the # 34 to the # 33 song isnt as smooth as he'd like. I Dont know if i want randy jackson or johnson to die sooner and more painfully these days, but anyway Ron and Fez fans, a Merry Christmas to you all and I apologize for my I'm sure reallty horific typos but I blame intoxication entirely for my messed upness and I'm sending good wishes from Baby Jesus to yallses!

Thanks,

I fucking HATE Green Day, but I won't wish death on them. At least they're musicians who create their own music and play indtruments. I mean that's all the have in my opinion, but I don't want them dead.

And if you're sick of KROCK and the like, get XM. I mean I hardly turn my Roady2 or internet feed off 202 but if you can't find something on XM to listen to you're probably not looking hard enough. Or just get an iPod and fill it with your favorite tunes. You can get the iPod Shuffle for about 100 bucks, it'll store hundreds of songs and you'll never wait for a radio station to play something you like again.

If you really think about it, anyone who complains about commercial radio is actually behind the times of commercial radio. They have sucked for so long it is cliche to bash on them. Too many commercials, stupid DJs, same song over and over again, why don't they just play the WHOLE Linkin Park cd today, and on-and-on.

I am not bashing on you Frosty_Sacknuts, but I would say 99% of the people on this board have XM and they all love it.

I never thought I would love XM this much but it really is great in every way. And of course I have the MP3 player as well (down with iPod). There are SO MANY options out there for someone to get the content that they are after.

Go out the day after xmas and get yourself something nice. On sale and what you are looking for. And while you are at it, pick me up something nice too.

They dragged up three kids from the audience and got them to play one of their songs from dookie, which although I'm not a musician seemed an easy song to play for anyone who is fairly skilled with such instruments. Anyway, the kids played the song, while the audience went nuts. Afterwards, they gave the kid playing drums the drum sticks, and gave the guitars to the other two.

I don't know if any other band does this, and assume that Green Day does this regularly, but in any event, it seemed like a pretty cool thing to do.
The thing that annoyed me most and I apparently never mentioned, is the fact that the song shouldve run its course and died out several months ago, but at the end of december its the #1 song. Its a time/seasonal song. Summers over, Septembers over, this song needs to go away. They dont play Christmas music in March.

Some of the equipment I run have radios in them, and there is one station to listen to. Afternoon gets the oldies feed which I dig, lots of Elvis and the like, but the rest of the time its either the 70's r&b show with lots of "flava" as the hosts call it, or top 40 countdown. I cant listen to (IPOD) headphones cause I have to monitor the other radio for communication purposes, and its not allowed. The jackpot has been hit when I get the machine with the "Born To Run" tape in it. Thunderroad fucking rocks. Just to be sure I completely address the XM thing I'd like to add that the signal cant be received down here, but if i had a laptop i could get it online and listen in my room. I dont really spend much time there tough anyway.

I dont really hate Green Day, they dont show up in my hallway playing music so its easy for me to ignore them. Aslong as I never buy thier music I should be able to avoid them completely once this September song dies.

Thanks,
