<p>Zemickis made CONTACT (with Jodie Foster).</p><p>There is one&nbsp;shot/camera move&nbsp;in that movie that has never been done before or since.&nbsp; It's an impossibly complicated shot that is done so seemlessly...it's almost invisible.&nbsp; </p><p>Next time it's on, check out the scene where Jena Malone (the&nbsp;actress playing&nbsp;the young Jodi Foster) discovers her&nbsp;fathers unconcious&nbsp;body and runs upstairs to get his medication.&nbsp;&nbsp; The camera follows her around a few turns and down the hallway...but, amazingly, all the action is taking place within the reflection in the mirror on the medicine cabinet.&nbsp; The use of slo-mo after the shot has started is also very effective.</p><p>ZEMICKIS = NOT A HACK.</p>
