I actually saw them at Mardi Gras that year. I went to school at LSU and still go back and visit once a year. I was there for that Mardi Gras and the area where my group was set up was right on the parade route. It was the night Brittany was the leader of one of the particular parade. This is before I knew that they were even filiming the Real World in NO that year. Well this guy walks up to us ( that clown with the spikey hair ) and asked us if we knew a good place to see the parade. We said yeah ( again not knowing who the hell the guy was, but we did see cameras ) and let him go in front of us. Well then we see the other characters ( and I mean characters !! ) standing around. I dont remember seeing that mildly hot chick or the tall kid. Well they stand there for a while and I dont think they filmed. We then asked the dude if he can get us on for a second and he says no because, and I quote , " It has to be real ". I was like, " What a dick !! ".
So I was half in the bag and wanted to set them on fire but damn that " common sense " prevented me. I could have saved us all a lot of trouble.
They were a truly reprehensible group of people.
I regreted my decision after I watched that season.
