Suicide shuts down 'Daily Show' production

<p>NEW YORK, Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Production was suspended on Monday's &quot;The Daily Show with Jon Stewart&quot; while grief counselors helped staff deal with the suicide of a co-worker. </p><p>Comedy Central said Bill Clarey, 25 -- an intern who went on to be the show's receptionist -- took his own life during the weekend, The Hollywood Reporter said. </p><p>&quot;Bill Clarey, a young staff member of 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,' passed away over the weekend,&quot; the network's statement said. &quot;He was a wonderful and dedicated employee and all of us at Comedy Central and 'The Daily Show' are devastated by his loss. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends.&quot; </p><p>The network said it would air a &quot;Daily Show&quot; repeat Monday night instead of the regularly scheduled episode. </p><p><br /><br /></p>

I would NEVER say suicide is a good thing, EVER.&nbsp; I just believe in people's right to die as they choose.&nbsp; I guess it applies to sick and elderly people more.&nbsp; I would hope younger, healthy people would get a talking to 1st.<br />
