I fucking hate when WWE does that shit. Remember a couple of years ago when Triple H feuded with Undertaker for Wrestlemania? They acted as if it's the first time they'll wrestle each other in the biggest stage but completely ignore the fact that they already fought back in WM17. They even put a video package of Undertakers WM wins but skip over WM17.

I know they ignore their own history all the time, but as a fan it just annoys the shit out of me. But whatever.

The Gauntlet match and ending were great. Some epic moves and bumps here. I swear, Bryan must have a body of rubber to take so many bumps.

I think this was one of the best Raws of the year, and I love the idea of Bryan as the reluctant Wyatt. They could play it as "I hit a glass ceiling, so let's bring the ceiling down" and still keep him as a tweener. If he has to beat someone down, they can do what they were doing with the Big Show. They can conflict with Brie or with his indie friends like Punk. A lot of potential for actual characterization here.

Not even being "edgy".. Modern WWE is unwatchable and awful.. So RAW and Modern PPVs are out of the equation. I don't watch hardly anything at all anymore.

I don't care about original "WWE programming".. Top ten lists etc.. Countdowns.. They've been running those on Youtube and WWE.com for years for free. And WWE reality shows don't interest me at all since none of it will be "reality"...

Past PPVs and RAWs etc is nice and all but I'm not doughing out more a month than Hulu or Netflix to pretend it's 1990 again on a selective basis.

On one hand I can understand that. I haven't paid for a PPV since One Night Stand 2006. Part of that was because WWE spent the better part of five years being dogshit more often than not, but it was mostly just because it was way too much damn money.

Basically since Punk's "Pipe Bomb" WWE has been on a huge upswing. Cena being less offensive. Punk being Punk. Daniel Bryan finally getting his due. The Shield coming out of nowhere to take over the world. Lesnar returning. Its a great time to be a fan.

With WWE Network, you get pretty much every single thing they do except live Raw and Smackdown for the price of Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, and Money in the Bank which are usually the only shows worth watching anyway. You're coming across as someone who's either not a fan anymore, which is fine. Or someone who feels like he just shouldn't have to pay for his entertainment.

Having two young kids, I think this is a pretty sweet deal. They are at the age where they want to watch the ppvs, but I won't let them stay up that late. I can now get them all for basically the price of wrestlemania and one other ppv and they can watch it on demand the next day. Plus with the chromecast I can just stream it to my tv. I don't see an issue with this at all.

I dont know what the capabilities are, but if i can go to the classics section, and watch clash of champions on a whim thats pretty fuckin awesome. Im trying to think if its actually possible for them to make their library available as a stream service. I dont think it is. I'm probably 95% sure i'll be getting this.

I was talking to a friend who wants the WWE to go back to the attitude generation era. I told him that's not going to happen. Since the name change from WWF to WWE, Vince wants to focus the company on being more of that global brand. Sure it started to become one when Hogan beat the Iron Sheik but look at it now. They call their roster personnel superstars and divas instead of wrestlers. Plus they are involved in many other ventures

I do wish TNA could get their act straight. I think that having a federation that can compete (I know TNA wont be on the same level as WWE) but it is still good.

ROH used to be on Mark Cuban's HD channel but it didn't last too long. It would be good for them to be able to have some TV exposure.


As far as WWE signing talent from TNA. The days of signing people who are done with their contracts might not be like how it was. WWE has brought up a lot from NXT. Some of their top guys like Cena came from their old developmental territory OVW. Batista and Brock came from OVW as well.

The weirdest thing about RAW.. Every thing I normally complain about was reversed. USOs won twice.. Kofi pinned Orton clean... Cena just a little blip in the middle of the show to progress a storyline. No HHH/Steph boring me to death. The entire show was very AE like in that nothing was predicable for once and there was barely any dusty finishes, stupid bullshit and burials.. Quite a strange show..

That segment was the most awkard thing.. This could easily be the worst booked Wrestlemania ever.. Four fucking heels in a ring cutting promos. Paul was forcing their hand to cheer in some weird attempt at Lesnar being a face all of a sudden.

NAO high point was 1998/99ish.. By 2000 the only thing they were hanging on to was their intro bit.. Their matches were the same routine and the fans were bored shitless with them by the time they left after shitty singles runs and feuding with each other.

They are the same exact team they were in 2000 as they are now.. Just a lazier workrate.. The still cling dearly onto that intro bit that the crowd always falls for and then they die as soon as the match starts because they're routine runs like a watch.. Somehow the company who `touts' millions and trabizillions of app downloads and viewers completely didn't prepare for mass traffic for the network they've been whoring for a month.
