I watched RAW tonight after taking a month off..

RAW went from shit to fucking shit.. Every match is predicable, and the god damn foreshadowing is ridiculous. I mean they replayed the NXT ... Er... I mean "The Shield" interview right before the main event started. Even Helen Keller could have seen them interrupting the main event they foreshadowed it so badly.

Also their angle is predictable as shit.. This is trademark Russo booking.. You're going to have 3 more weeks of "The Shield" beating up Punks opponents with the announce team begging you to believe they work for Punk.. Meanwhile, they don't exactly want Punk to lose clean to Ryback because he is $$$ but at the same time Vince is jerking off to Ryback because he's big and muscular or something and Vince think's he's the next John Cena or some bullshit that only a delusional old fuck would think.

Anyway, come the PPV during Punk / Ryback "The Shield" will walk out, surround the ring, stare down Ryback and boom, Russo swerve they attack Punk, Ryback wins.. Punk loses no credibility but drops the belt to Vince's green as shit paper champion.

This about sums it up why I stopped watching this shit. I seriously turned on RAW just completely randomly and in 10 seconds learned CM Punk was taking a lie detector test for the main event and turned it off.

- The booking/writing is poor & lacks continuity.
- No one has any heat.
- There aren't any stars.
- The titles don't mean anything.
- The wins/losses don't mean anything.
- The show is too long.
- Intelligence being insulted constantly.
- There aren't any fresh match-ups & WWE runs everything into the ground.
- There's no reason to watch each week. Nothing ever changes. There are no consequences or cliff hangers.
- There is no emotional investment, either positively or negatively, for anyone on the entire roster.\
- Too many ads, replays, recaps & media whoring.

The fans were ready and salivating MONTHS ago for WWE to give him a title shot and a belt and yet here we are watching WWE setup a match between him and a "weakened" Cena for his briefcase.. ie: Stall tactics and this is just another safe match that no one will remember.

There were massive last minute re-writes of tonight's episode of RAW by Vince McMahon. According to a source, Vince kept going back and changing his mind during the show. While there are those who believe that the changes are due to him striving for perfection, the end result was a big mess that has splintered the direction of a few storylines. The ratings from last week are likely the motivation for Vince creating chaos over the script revisions.

They came in today on draft 2. The last draft that went out was number 9. After that draft, they just stopped counting as the show was live.

Yeah, TNA does write shit WAY ahead of time. That's why, despite their storylines being retarded somtimes they at least have a legit storyline for every match, follow through, talk about the past, and there is legit continuity and there matches revolve around the storylines.. No ones just out there to wrestling because they have to have a match. There is a legit reason for it all which is cool. That's why even a low card match on TNA you have NO IDEA who might win and there are a lot of times the underdog actually wins and then another storyline spins off into a new one where one of those guys is in an upper card storyline.. It's wonderful how they rotate people around... Hogan is such cancer though and involves himself in storylines for the sake of adding himself.

Meanwhile, in WWE every match is predictable.. There are no surprises and most everything is run-in related now.. Just like WCW was.

I read his book and saw alot of interviews with him. While he did handicap himself in some ways (a wrestling caste system according to pay grade, creative control, letting the nWo actually call the shots, spending money frivolously) it wasnt until the initial Turner AOL merger things started going bad. Once there were peoplke higher than Ted Turner for WCW to answer to, thats what really caused its downfall. They started implementing the same rules WWE did once they became a publicly traded company. See the list I wrote above.

You cant have lawyers and human resources personell calling shots for a wrestling company. The 2 just dont mix. Wrestling is all about pushing the envelope and offending people. The other 2 do everything they can to avoid both.

Best RAW in a long while, and that's high praise considering it was a Slammy Show.

Punk's was awesome tonight and anyone who objectively looked at the two promos would say Punk won. I really loved watching Punk, but clearly the WWE is for children. Sorry, but his promos are still 1000 times better than anyone else in the company right now. Every wrestler for the last 20 years relies on their catchphrases and uses them over and over. Its what the fans want to hear. Thats why when he says FINALLY the whole building erupts. So that kind of shit doesnt bother me. The bottom line is his promo was the first time Ive actually laughed out loud during a wrestling promo in like 6 months. Say what you want, but even at 2-3 times a year hes worth more than any of the guys who show up every night. He made me watch Raw. Nobody on that roster the last month or so can say that.

I watch the last hour of WWE Raw last night. It was the worst excuse for a show I have ever seen! My agent Scott is tight with legendary World Champion Bruno Sammartino. Scott has told me that WWE has been calling Brunno regularly begging him to go into the Hall of Fame. Bruno has been polite but has always said no thank you.

Tonight on RAW for the last 45 minutes of the show all they did was have CM PUNK talk, talk and more talk! The killer line came when Vince had Punk putting over his 314 straight days as world champ and then said and I quote, ” you had people like Burno Sammartino , only wrestled in Madison Square Garden only wrestled one a month.”

This was by far the biggest put down of Bruno ever. Why would WWE have Punk say that about someone they have been begging to go into the Hall of Fame for untold years? When that teenager looking CM Punk made that statement he was also talking about me, Ivan Koloff , Stan Hanson etc. Find the re run and listen closely and answer me this my Facebook friends – How can they justify putting down a real icon like this, and not get called out on it?

That being said, his feud with punk is starting out better then the Cena one last year. There is a clearly defined heel and face with both people equal on the mic. The Rock will not have to tone it down like he had to with Cena.

Yea I dont see that happening. I dont get alot of what WWE does concerning this guy, like having him job to Cena after having Cena kick out of his finisher 8 times.

For him I see them using the Rumble to try and boost him. Like they did with Kane boasting how he set the record for throwing the most people out, and when they bragged about how long guys like Benoit and HHH had lasted in other Rumbles. Why do you think they gave him #1 or #2? So that he could spend a decent amount of time in there.

Unfortunately I see the WWE title picture shaking out just like we thought 6 months ago. Rock beats Punk, Cena wins Rumble, Cena beats Rock at Mania. YAWN. Theyll throw a few things around for the PPV in between but it looks like Punk will wind up fighting Taker at Mania, with HHH taking on Lesnar. Ryback will probably be part of some tag team match against the Shield, and I dont know or really care what goes on with the World title. Im guessing Ziggler wins it before Mania and has to fight someone like Del Rio or Seamus. It figures the way this guys career has been moving he will be fighting for the belt at Wrestlemania and its only the 4th biggest match, probably opening the show like last year.

Cenas face turn. It wasnt bad until they decided it needed to come with a gimmick overhaul. After 30 years they finally found a guy that could pull off a rap star gimmick and once they turn him good they get rid of it to try to re-create Hulkamania. :wallbash:

I think Orton is halfway out the door. In my mind he'll never get above midcard because hes got 2strikes. He came in was pretty much pushed to the moon and pissed it down the drain.

As comical as Bryan might be he was SO over after last yrs WM. He took a big step back being with Kane. However it shows more personality from Kane.

I think ADR could have a good face run as hes good in the ring and Rodriguez is likable.

Punks heel turn was just dumb.

Kane and DB are getting air time and still crazy over with the fans. Honestly this is more "character" then I thought he would ever be able to show. Kane is good in a tag team because let's face it the guy is on the last leg of his career. This keeps him somewhat relevant even if he's not being a monster heel.

Orton can go away. I really don't think the fans care and his creative direction since his return has been so hazy who would miss him? The guy is arrogant and too high risk for the big time anymore. Just cut him and send a message to the others that they need to shape up.

ADR got the role of "Latino hero" that they wanted to give to Sin Cara. It's obvious that Sim Cara was a flop and Rey is Old and high risk with 2 strikes. Good for ADR I always liked him from the jump.
