This might have already been done at some point in WWE history, but I think that when Alberto Del Rio is cutting a heel promo, instead of chanting "WHAT?", the audience should chant "QUE?"
The audience isn't nearly that creative.

Does anyone remember that his rookie won on NXT and him and his rookie are supposed to get a tag team title match.

The Chyna thing worked longer because of the Dgeneration shit. Beth Phoenix was bigger than the others but nothing like this bitch, and her stock dropped once she was beat. The only way out is the mismatched couple storyline with somebody like Santino.
Yeah I was just pointing out how they've rode this donkey before.

The Chyna thing worked because she never competed in the women's division.
She was the Intercontinental Champion, but never the Women's Champion.

From WWE.com (http://www.wwe.com/inside/titlehistory/women/304454132121112113):
Chyna was indestructable in the women's division. She faced Ivory at WrestleMania X-Seven and finished her off in short order with a powerbomb and a gorilla press slam. Chyna held the championship until she left WWE at which point there was a six-way match to determine a new champion.

Wow, I totally don't remember that. I stand corrected.
Even being reminded of it, I still don't recall that match at all.
Was that when Ivory was doing the Censorship thing w/ Stevie Richards?
I guess my basic point still holds, though. She didn't get involved with fighting the women until very late in her career. If she had, they never could have kept her as a monster who can go toe to toe with men.

I like R-Truth's stuff to an extent. He's doing a great job of showing that he's pissed off about being looked over for title shots, but then all of his promos seem to run way too long and start sounding way too rambling.
I hate that they take Kharma from destroying every diva she's in the ring with to crying in the middle of the ring. They should have had her destroy every one of the divas until it was her and Beth Phoenix in the ring and have her smile and walk away as Beth gives that serious look she does.
And it really shows just how much heat that The Miz have when the crowd starts chanting for his goofy sidekick the second he shows some anger toward The Miz.
That was a good enough segment, but then they go and have Alberto Del Rio go and blame all his problems on his sidekick.

R-Truths character is definitely better than his face character. I also feel like he's walking the fine line of going off on "whiteys holding me back ".

Apparently, Kharma is being written off TV for 9 months. Hence the reason for the weird segment involving her. No official reason why she's taken off, but many assume that she's pregnant. Here's a link....

I watch it every month on WWE Classics. Right now they are in May / June of 98. Its unbelievable how much better the show was. Phenominal storylines, matches and promos (although horrendously edited for the new PG WWE)
Even Nitro which at that time was on its way down was 10 times better then the shit they show on Raw and TNA now.

theyve done the cyber monday gimmick a few times on raw last few years
and if it was truly bout fans pick then it wouldnt be predetermined options for the universe to pick to which they can make results look like the universe picked punk vs cena in a hell in a cell
cause if it was a real universe pick then we might have a match up that doesnt conveniently fit into a storyline already going on

Are these 3 hour RAWS due to Tough Enough ending early? They would have had a few more episodes if not for the injuries.
Either way 3 hours of programming is hard enough but throw in an upcoming PPV that is about the quality of a episode of Smackdown and Stone Cold overkill its just a rough watch.
Next week is a skip for me. Hookey matches the results of a bad PPV I'll pass and see the AM RAW.

I think they had announced them at around the same time as Tough Enough started taping, so they probably would've started doing a bunch of double eliminations if everyone had stuck around to be kicked off.

Its sad that there is no concrete person for this angle to end.
WCW quality booking at best.
I think Lawler would be a good candidate, it would give someone else a slot on the commentary Booth and Lawler is a great talker. The angle would write itself

I think talking about it is all pre-approved because it was the focus of the show going forward and the PPV is already being hyped around it. Punk saying "wrestler," on the other hand, probably wasn't well received in the back.

But it's the Money in the Bank PPV, they could have him win, then have one of the MITB winners cash in and beat him. Nobody likes short title reigns, but it's not exactly like WWE gives a shit about that.

Yea but Luger left the night after a PPV without notice, and was never offered a spot to come back.
Jarrett held Vince hostage for a huge payday because his contract expired the day before he was supposed to drop the IC title, and he never got another offer again either.
Vince seems to take business screwovers alot more personal then actual personal assaults. Hes been know to dislike wrestlers that dont stand up to him because he considers them pussies.
Now if the wrestler can make a HUGE impact and a boatload of cash by coming back, like Hogan, Bret Hart, the nWo etc. he obviously puts shit aside. But I dont think CM Punk falls into that category.

Transcript of sorts. He went FULL OUT
After the match, Punk takes a mic and has a seat at the top of the ramp. Punk is wearing a Steve Austin t-shirt. Punk says before he leaves, he has some things he wants to get off his chest. Punk says he doesn't hate Cena, he actually likes him more than most people in the back. Punk hates the idea that Cena is the best, because he's not. Punk says he's the best, the best in the world. Punk says Cena is better than one thing - kissing Vince McMahon's ass. Punk says Cena is as good at kissing Vince's ass than Hulk Hogan was. Punk also brings up The Rock being Vince's ass kisser. Punk says he is the best wrestler in the world and has been since day 1 of walking into this company. Punk brings up how Paul Heyman saw something in him. Punk says yea, I'm a Heyman guy. Punk says Brock Lesnar was also a Heyman guy and he left. Punk says the difference is, he's leaving with the WWE Title. Cena is still trying to recover in the ring. Punk says he has tried to grab so many of Vince's imaginary brass rings and that's just what they are - imaginary. Punk says he's proved he's the best in the ring, on the mic and even on commentary. Punk says he's barely promoted, not on any WrestleMania posters, no opening videos, no promo cups and things like that. Punk says he isn't on Conan or Fallon, but should be. The fact that The Rock is in the WrestleMania 28 main event and not him makes him sick. Punk says the ones cheering him right now are one of the biggest reasons he's leaving. He says they're the ones sipping out of those promo cups and then trying to get him to sign it at the airport so they can sell it on Ebay. Punk says he's leaving with the WWE Title and maybe will defend it in New Japan or Ring of Honor. Punk says hi to Colt Cabana. Punk says Vince will make money despite himself. Punk calls Vince a millionaire who should be a billionaire but he's not because he surrounds himself with people like John Laurinaitis. Punk says WWE could be better once Vince is dead but it will be ran by his idiotic daughter Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Punk goes on and they cut his mic and then go to black. RAW is off the air.,

John Cena comes out and he says that Vince loves freedom of speech and he still wants to face CM Punk. Cena says that if Vince doesn’t feel like fighting then he should hang it up.
Vince says that he really suspended Punk because he doesn’t want Punk to leave with the title. Cena made fun of Vince being afraid to let Punk wrestle. Cena talks about the match and then Vince tells Cena not to piss him off and not to be like Hogan.
Cena tells Vince to give the people what they want. Vince says that he doesn’t give a damn what the people want. Cena gives Vince a speech and then gives Vince the WWE Championship and walks out.
Vince tells Cena to wait and he meets him on the ramp. Vince says that CM Punk is reinstated and Cena has his match at Money in the Bank with CM Punk. Vince tells Cena that if Punk walks out of Chicago with the title then John Cena is fired.

Can someone fill me in on what Punk said? I had to leave the house to listen to a friend cry about her guy troubles and missed it. Give me the gist of what he said.
Here
On stage Punk sits and has a mic in hand. He tells Cena that while he lays there, hopefully as uncomfortably as possible there, he wants Cena to digest what Punk has to say. Before Punk leaves in three weeks with his strap, Punk has a lot to get off his chest. He doesn't hate Cena, in fact he likes Cena. Likes him a lot more than most in the back. He hates this idea that Cena's the best. Because he's not. Punk the best. The best in the world. There's one thing Cena's better at than Punk is and that's kissing VKM's ass! Huge cheers from the crowd for this.
Cena is as good at kissing Vince's ass as Hogan was! Hogan's name garners some solid heat from the fans. Not as good as Dwayne. He's a pretty good ass kisser. Always was and still is. Oops, I'm breaking the 4th wall! Punk is the best wrestler in the world. This actually gets some mixed reaction from the fans, some agree with him. He's been the best since day one when he walked into this company and he's been vilified and hated since that day because Paul Heyman saw something in Punk that nobody wanted to admit.
Cena just starts to roll away from the table. That's right, Punk's a Paul Heyman guy. You know who else is? Brock Lesnar. He split just like Punk's splitting! The biggest difference between him and Brock is Punk's leaving with the WWE Championship. He's grabbed so many of VKM's imaginary brass rings that they're just that, imaginary. The only thing that real is Punk. That day in and day out for six years that he's the best on this mic, in that ring, even at commentary, nobody can touch him! The fans like this. No matter how many times he proves it, he's not on our lovely little collector cups, not on the program, barely promoted, not in movies, not in any crappy shows on the USA Network. He's not on the poster for WM, not in the signature produced at the start of the show.
Not on Conan O'Brien, not on Jimmy Fallon. But the fact of the matter, he should be. This isn't sour grapes, it's what it is. That Dwayne is in the main event at WMXXVIII makes Punk sick! Cena is now watching Punk. Punk says that those people who are cheering him are as much of the problem as they're the ones sipping out of those collector cups, buy those programs, then at 5am you shove it in his face for an autograph, then sell it on eBay because you're too lazy to get a real job! More heat for Punk here.
Punk says he's leaving on July 17th with the WWE Championship. Maybe he'll go defend it in NJPW. Maybe he'll go back to ROH! Punk then turns to the camera on his right, waves and says hello to Colt Cabana. The reason he's leaving is the fans. They'll keep pouring money into this wheel after he's gone. He's just a spoke in on the wheel. It will keep turning. VKM will make money despite himself. He's a millionaire who should be a billionaire. You know why he's not a billionaire? He surrounds himself with glad-handing nonsensical BLEEPING yes men like John Laurinaitis who will tell VKM what he wants to hear. Punk would like to think that this company will be better after VKM's death, but the fact of the matter is, it's going to get taken over by his idiotic daughter and his doofus son-in-law and the rest of his stupid family.
Punk wants to tell us a personal story about VKM. They do this whole bully campaign - Punk's mic has been shut off. He shouts a bit, then drops the mic yelling that he can't be silenced. He yells into the camera as RAW goes off the air.

This kid is fucking tapped
When Randy Orton reached me on the entrance ramp, he began to slap hands with the people right next to me. During this time, I was doing everything I could to express my hatred of him. I gave him a double thumbs-down, and was screaming "You suck" at him endlessly. Randy could have brushed me off. He could have easily ignored me. But instead, he was highly amused and decided to "play" with me. Here is how it went down...
At first, he gave me a look as if to say "Oh, another one of these hater fans..." He smiled like John Cena would do, and I think he was expecting me to stop, and that would be it. Instead, I kept screaming at him relentlessly (understand that he was right in front of me) and he began to grow increasingly more amused. He waved his hand in a downward motion as if to signal me to tone it down. He made direct eye contact with me several times for a period of 1-2 minutes (although it felt longer). He studied me down completely, to the point where he could easily tell a police department every feature of me if he was asked to give a description. The entire time, he was smiling/smirking and visibly amused.
I thought it was over. He went to the other side of the entrance ramp, presumably to slap hands with the people over there. But instead of doing so, he turned back around and stared at me again. I had momentarily stopped doing anything because I had thought that he was done with me, but now the surrounding fans were telling me: "Hey, there's your chance. It's just you and him. He's looking at you. Do something!"
So I gave him the double thumbs-down again. At this point, he never stopped making eye contact with me. I got tired of saying "You suck" so I screamed at him "You're garbage!" I'm not sure why the word "garbage" would have set him off, but for a brief moment, he turned his head upward, and looked like he does when he's about to punt somebody.
I was fully expecting him to come over to me and get in my face, or perhaps just brush me off at this point. But he did neither. Instead, his response was to "taunt" me with his belt. He held it up and showed it proudly to me, all the time smiling and smirking, as if to mock me for telling him that he sucks when he is, in fact, the champion.
That was it. But I can't believe that Randy took the time to "play" with me like that. He could have completely ignored me, but instead he had fun with me. I have never grabbed a wrestler's attention like that for such a seemingly long period of time. There were people around me who I think would have liked that amount of attention, but it was me who stood out to Randy Orton over everyone else who was there.

Why did they even bother deleting Punks facebook page, if they were going to do something that made it SO CLEAR that the angle was fake the next day? Pretty dumb. They could have went with this and gotten legitimate heat up to the PPV, now it's just clearly a work.

I really hope Vince has some deal with Cornette and ROH and is going to use Punk to help get them better established. It would be pretty amazing to have him win the PPV, take the belt, and show up at a ROH show. Of course it would only matter if Vince actually acknowledged it.

The big mistake was that they had this happen on a night where they were recording a second Raw episode. Any other week they could have kept the momentum going to at least some of the more gullible fans, but within minutes we heard about next week's fake "suspension" and reinstatement. Nice job, WWE!

HMMMMMMMMMMM?
According to a reliable source in WWE, there was some significance CM Punk mentioning Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman and Colt Cabana during his shoot promo on RAW - as each of them could be working with WWE again in the coming months.
Heyman and Lesnar have reportedly either made a deal or are at least in very serious negotiations to have a business relationship with WWE. Regarding Lesnar, word is that he won't be wrestling and won't be a TV character, should he establish a business relationship with WWE again. Heyman would start working with the company again under a deal similar to Lesnar.
As for Punk's WWE future, the creative team has been told that he's finishing up at Money in the Bank and most feel that he is still leaving. During his negotiations with WWE Punk recently asked for his friend Colt Cabana to be re-hired and put on the main roster.
WWE still has an offer on the table, so we shall see.

The most shocking part of the promo was when he said the WWE still wouldn't get run better when Vince dies, because stephanie and HHH would be taking over. I could totally see that piece being approved by Vince though.

According to WWE hes really dont on the 18th. They had to give a statement to GLAAD saying he has 2 weeks left on an already advertised PPV so but they arent re-signing him. Thats their way of cowtowing to the faggot equivalent of Al Sharpton.
Its funny, Cena had 2 great promos this week. In the 2nd one, he basically calls Vince McMahon out for being a pussy and not the fighter he was back in the 80s and 90s. I know it was scripted but talk about hitting the nail on the head. The old Vince McMahon would never fucking cowtow to a special interest group. Its really sad to see what the WWE has become.

He still owns 70% of the WWEs economic interest and 96% of the voting power. He doesnt have to answer to stockholders. All of the moves they make are costing them fans and money.
Its funny, when you look back at the Monday Night Wars, all the corporate rules the WCW had to follow that basically hamstrung them and cost them any chance at competing with Vince again, they are the same rules the WWE uses now. Confiscating signs, fully scripted promos, bleeping out language, no blood, no slurs etc. Look at any wrestling documentary and Eric Bischoff is the first to say that once WCW came to him and said they wanted all their shows to be suitable for 5 year olds, they were essentially done.
Punk was dead on. Vince is a millionaire who should be a billionaire. The company will always make money but it will never come close to reaching former heights as long as it feels the need to constrain itself and let stockholders that know nothing about the wrestling business call the shots. Vince could do whatever he wants and if the company makes more money because of it the stockholders would shut their mouths. If he were in this position in 1995 WCW would probably still be in business.

I didn't care too much for the MITB ladder matches. I agree that the Smackdown match was far superior. It's hard to top Wrestlemania 24's. Del Rio got to nap during the entire RAW match, which is nice.
The main event had the BIG match feel. It was chock full of botches, but entertaining as Hell. However, that's mainly because they ACTUALLY built the fucking thing up. It's amazing what proper storytelling can do. You forgive the foibles of the match.

Yeah, the main event had a nice arc. However, I HATED that Cena could not sell even a little bit of exhaustion after Punk kicked out of the AA for the second time. He was jawing with the official and just didn't sell any injury or fatigue. He was far too alert for a guy who was in such a trying contest.
