It is one of the most interesting things to happen in WWE in a while. Danielson's firing hurt the angle a bit, but they should be fine without him. And if he's re-hired, it'll make for an interesting confrontation between him and Nexus.

I honestly think that the best direction they can go with this and to be the man behind the NXT faction's recent behavior and actions is the man who was one of the most iconic figures during the Attitude era and arguably the biggest star the WWE has ever produced.

The Rock.

Here's a guy who we all know is a celebrity but could definitely bring that spark back and give the right backing to the NXT guys as well as the new generation of WWE stars.

Imagine if all of a sudden Michael Cole gets an email that says "Do you smell what the new GM is cooking?" The crowd would go crazy and then explode even more when the music hits, totally unexpected. He makes his arrival and he's followed by the NXT 7. He explains that Vince McMahon gave The Rock power over Raw because he knew that no one else could bring the caliber of star power or command the respect of the locker room like The Rock could.

"So why sign the NXT 7? Simply put, The Rock decided that there needed to an attitude adjustment in the WWE. And no one knows about Attitude, more than The Rock. The Rock signed these individuals before you because The Rock knows that they have attitude. They have the right attitude to do what it takes to make a name for yourself, even if it means raising some hell. So The Rock signed them all to WWE contracts because he could tell they were hungry. They were itching to make an impact. Most of all, just like The Rock, they were sick and tired of the same old same old each and every week jabronis coming in and out of this ring trading championship titles like they were baseball cards. The Rock thinks you know exactly who he's talking about. John Cena, you were an example of what The Rock was talking about."

I could go on but it would be something to that effect.

The reason it could work is because here's a guy who can still be GM via satellite when he's doing a movie. This would make it even more special when he actually does show up in the arena. People will watch to see what happens next. People will buy tickets to find out if they're going to be the lucky arena that witnesses The Rock and the NXT 7 take over.

But that's just my opinion. It'll most likely be Jim Ross.

The only thing is, ever since the WWE became a public company theyve pretty much stopped trying to surprise the fans. Instead of bringing out The Rock, which would be incredibly awesome, have people calling their friends and telling them, have the internet going crazy and setting up huge ratings for the next week, the WWE is most likely to just announce hes coming coming in. Which would have people setting their DVR, fast forwarding til The Rock was there, erasing the show right after, and that would be it.

They are so concerned with getting the ratings up for one week they sacrifice the quality of the show just for a small pop. So fucking dumb.

I dont know if any of you guys ever heard of Trent Acid, but he was a kid I knew growing up from my neighborhood, Michael Verdi, and was a few years younger then me. He wrestled for a long time on the Indy circuit and just died at 30 years of age.

Well today they had a tribute show for him at the ECW Arena and donated the proceeds to his family. I have no idea how true this is, but at one point they announced a wrestler, that they were not allowed to name, but he was a main event wrestler right now in the big leagues and from Boston, donated a gold watch that "spun" for the auction. Say what you want about Cena, but if thats true, between that and the way he outwardly supported Danielson I have to give the guy credit as one of the classiest pro wrestlers out there.

Well, from what I read, he was supposed to come back for Summerslam. But if he really did have surgery again, that could be out the window. He was to come back to fight Sheamus for the title.

As previously reported, Triple H recently underwent surgery for an undisclosed reason. Wrestling-Radio.com has now learned that the surgery was to repair a torn muscle tendon in one of his arms, an injury that surfaced during his time off from WWE.

Sadly, this injury will sideline Triple H for several more months, which means that his scheduled return for WWE SummerSlam against Sheamus in August is now off.

Wrestling-Radio.com will continue to keep you posted as we learn more.

I think the thing is not to figure out which superstar is behind the plot of Nexus, but rather the superstar's motive. What is the "big picture" that Wade Barrett keeps mentioning and how does the mystery GM fall into that category? The creative staff needs to figure out the end before they move on.

As far as Morrison, at least they have the story that Nexus attacked him backstage a few weeks ago. R-Truth and Khali really have no reason to be in the match other than the fact that they're good guys.

I actually watched the last 2 RAW's because you guys were talking up this Nexus angle. For the record its the first 2 consecutive RAW's I've watched since probably 2005.

The selections for Team Cena seemed a little off. I think it was really meant for HHH to return, so as a last resort they threw in Hart. I think it might have been better, and more of a sell, to have Mr. McMahon wrestle with Team Cena. Never thought I would see the day where McMahon could put on a better show then Hart, but them's the times.

Actually, JR stated he isnt done with his commentating career but WWE management feels they would like to move forward without him in that role. Another brilliant move.

As someone stated earlier, Paul E. would be perfect for this. And he does get along with Vince, its Stephanie he has the problem with. Why a woman and mother in her 30's would be in charge of wrestling storylines is completely beyond me. I am convinced she is the main reason the WWE storylines have been so fucking awful for so long.

- Hes got a solid gimmick right off the bat

1. The WWE star gets surrounded...then swings first
2. They just pounce on the guy and punch and kick
3. Once hes beat they whip him into a Skip Sheffield clothesline

5. Top it off with a 450

I just watched Raw, I had it DVR'd. Overall alot better show then theyve been doing. Although seeing a 6 diva match is bad enough, when its a swimsuit match and every diva has a one piece. Ugh. Just a waste of time, really.

I am more interested in Summerslam now, especially if Khali is out of the main event. The biggest turn off was both Khali and R Truth in the main event. Truth is fucking garbage and Khali is 100 times worse. Putting Miz in that main event automatically makes it 10 times better.

The GM email thing is so fucking old and played now that by the time they announce this GM, if its anyone other then The Rock its gonna be a huge dissapointment.

I didnt mind the spinning belt. Because it made sense at the time. It worked with Cenas gimmick and I think his spinning US belt was one of the best ones they ever had. However, just like the smoking skull belt, its shouldve died after his first title reign ended. The fact they still use it without it spinning is just ridiculous.

First of all I have to say you cannot compare the current title scene with the past. There is way to many PPV's and TV hours to not expect more freqent title changes.

Second there are certain elements, as a fan, I will always be into. Belt design is one of them. The short lived Unified WWE Title was a great design. The "spinny" belt is awful, but for some reason has lasted far to long. The IC Title was always a nice design, even with the recent updates. These new belts look like they belong in the fucking backyard leagues.

Value to the belts has nothing to do with how long you hold them, but what angles you run WHEN you hold them. World Title matches should always be defended in stright up one on one fights. Exceptions a few times a year for Ladders, HIAC etc. What devalues the belt is, title changes in matches where the champ isn't pinned. Champs grabbing the belt and running away for a countout. And anytime someone is given a short reign who isn't ready/ doesn't deserve the belt. Recent examples are Jack Swagger, and although he is growing on me, Sheamus.
