Speaking his mind freely? Yeah, sure. He was such a free speaker last year when he wasn't looking for a new contract.But, yeah, if a Disney employee went around freely saying, "Hey, Mickey Mouse is a piece of garbage and Michael Eisner is a classless douche," yeah, he shouldn't lose his job and I'm sure there would be tons of people coming out in support of the guy.Besides, I'm sure this loss would have been so much better with TO. The fact that the Eagles are missing their starting All-Pro QB, their number 2 WR, their staring All-Pro left tackle, their starting left guard and their staring All-Pro CB is meaningless, right?

yeah Mcnabb claimed he played with the flu...during the superbowl.. way to think of the team first. Then a week or 2 ago Mcnabb was dancing in the end zone until the score changed, he faked an injury during the game after having ANOTHER shitty game.Mcnabb is always blaming someone or has an excuse... The Eagles WERE beat by a better team. Sadly Mcnabb couldn't admit that and blamed it on his flu.

 I hope the Eagles lose every game they play so

This thread makes me really disappointed in myself for not allotting more time into getting that entire fourth quarter (of the Superbowl) I posted I would get.  I am STILL trying!  I underestimated how hard it would be but I am determined to provide the video to make McNabb sympathizers realize the blind people they are.  While HBox is obviously intelligent (maybe not on this subject, but he tries) he is watered down by his ignorant stubbornness.  From what I read you seem so smart but unfortunately you're too narrow minded.  You seem to prefer the "fight" over the obvious/truth.  Thanks for the material Perry, something I should have done in a prior thread.

You don't put down your own goddamned teammates! I don't care if you are asked if your team would be better off with Peyton Manning, where you would ibviosuly be telling the truth if you say yes, you don't do it. Owens has the right to express his mind, and everyone does and should support that, but we lose a whole lot of people when we get to people taking responsibility for what they say. When you do these things OVER AND OVER AND OVER and you are repeatedly told to stop and you continue, you've earned whatever you punishment you get. I was completely neutral on the Eagles before this garbage. It sucks
that NFL fans get robbed of seeing a talent of TO's caliber because he
says some crap and doesn't apologize quick enough. What??? Do they not
realize that they need to win football games and playing the best
players helps you do that?  Seeing Andy Reid get
his ass handed to him tonight was very nice. I eagerly await his firing

When I think of Favre I think of horrible failure (4 or so INTs) in the playoffs. I never think of that Superbowl.  You
can say this about McNabb. He has gone a lot of years with a really low
number of INT's. I bet there were years where he threw in the single
digits.

It was being late for meetings and practice, not talking to teammates, not attending team functions required of him in his contract, disrespecting coaches AND those comments. Name me a SINGLE QB that has thrown more detrimental interceptions in HUGE spots than McNabb.  He's an accident waiting to happen, in the big spot.  I appreciate the stats you provided to keep this on level.  You're a true fan.  I'm baffled how an Eagles fan can't be disgusted with his perfomrance in the SuperBowl.I always thought Tom Brady was over rated.  McNabb (I really mean this in all honesty) has showed me how to appreciate a calm and collected pro.

There's only two bad picks that stick out in my mind, and only one is inexcusable, and that's the one against the Bucs in 2002. The one in the Super Bowl was a 4th down force throw. McNabb had to throw it, and far, since the were deep in their own territory and had less than a minute left. The one in 2001 against the Rams was a tough one. It was on 4th down, and Aeneas Williams made a great pic, but it was a bad throw. So it was a bad throw, but there wasn't much else to do.The 2002 on against the Bucs, however, was a really bad one, and a killer. But what separates McNabb from other QB's like Favre and Manning, in my eyes anyway, is that none of McNabb's picks were as blatantly awful as some other QB's. The Brett Favre I used to know died with me when he heaved a dead duck interception right to Brian Dawkins in overtime of the 2003 Eagles-Packers playoff game. There was nobody there, no receiver, nobody except Dawkins. I cannot comprehend the thought process. THAT'S what, to me anyway, is choking under the pressure. When a QB makes a dumb fucking move that totally fucks over his team. Like when Manning throws a pass right to Tedy Bruschi. (And let me say that I am talking about the current Brett Favre, not the one who won the Super Bowl. I think we can all agree they are two different players) At least with McNabb's picks, I can understand that a good QB would logically throw that ball when he throws a pick.

Not only is Favre not really criticized for this garbage but he is
in fact PRAISED for his awful decision making. It's like - "he's a
winner, who cares if he just made a dumb throw in a playoff game?" They
tell Rodgers to not do what Favre does! Everyone in the media acts like

The way you talk about the way McNabb played, you'd think the Eagles were blown out solely because McNabb choked his team out of the game. The reality is that the Eagles lost by 3, and could have made a better run at the end if Andy Reid had this team ready to run an efficient two minute drill. He didn't and it's been a problem since he took over. He always and still does have a problem at getting plays in on time.EDIT: If you want an example of a QB completely and single-handedly choking his team out of a game, a perfect example would be Mike McMahon tonight. THAT'S a performance that disgusts me.

We want to see him play because he is entertaining.Unless TO can somehow throw the ball to himself, the most entertaining things he'd be doing is screaming his head off at the stiffs playing Qb right now for the Eagles. I mean, does anybody seriously think it would be a good thing for him to rejoin this team? Jeff Garcia and Donovan McNabb aren't good enough for him!

Nobody has a worse record then Peyton Manning if you're looking at poise in a big game.  Check out his stats against TN's main rival Florida and his bowl record and stats.  He didn't even win a fucking NFL playoff game until last year, and can't beat New England when it means something and they have half their team on the field.  Everybody beat NE this year, so you can't count it as a big game.

Used to love him, found him so exciting.  Defended all his "fuck-ups" in big spots with my friends until last year.  All I can say was that I was just disgusted with the mental collpase he had in the Superbowl.  It's something we all dream about (being in the big game).  That situation.  The underdog.  Down by TEN!  THE PRESSURE.  Fuck the PRESSURE.  I'm better than that and I'm gonna bring the "W" home!  He was a joker.  Are we ignoring his breakdown???  While Kerry Collins had the worst (overall) QB performance I had ever seen in my life (in a SuperBowl) it does not touch the retard McNabb was last January.I hate how McNabb gets no heat for it when being paid so handsomely to perform. It is frustrating to fans to see the so-callled elite fuck up so oftenly and still hit jack-pot regardless of multiple failures.  I'm sure envy has a bit of a hold on my opinion.
