Store-Bought Eggnog

<p>I noticed the eggnog was out early this year.&nbsp; So far this year I've had the Land O' Lakes (gritty) and Turkey Hill (pretty good).&nbsp; Any recommendations?&nbsp; I used to make it with raw eggs.&nbsp; Turns out, that's not so good for you (not that this processed shit as any better).</p>

<p>Tork, what are you worried about with the eggs? If its salmonella,
just make sure you heat the milk/cream to boiling before you add the
egg. Food safety rule #1 everythings dead at 140. Liquids boil at
around 200. </p><p>Just mix some of the sugar and milk with the egg
before adding it, or else you'll have scrambled eggs floating in
milk.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>Homemade eggnog blows away the store bought shit. Plus you can add some REAL rum or bourbon to it. &nbsp;</p>
