View Full Version : Worst dating story?

I had a little incident this evening which continues my streak of bad behavior because I get nervous on a first date type situation. Note to self: jokes about Gay Hitler doesn't work when a person doesn't know you or your sense of humor that well.

Ah well.

Anyone have any bad dating stories? Like, internet horror stories?

Yea Geocities sucks ass as a hosting site.

I once went on a date with a girl who talked about her gerbil and it's new cage for 45 minutes. Then she proceded to discuss how she hates black people, and went into a racist rant for the next 30 minutes. It was horrible, but I snuck out early and left her with the bill, so i didn't lose much.

White people are so scared of black people.

When you're on a first date, it's been my experience that you have to be bland as oatmeal when it comes to politics, religion, and you can't be leaning too far to the left or right.

Yea for sure. I mean, having a conversation is one thing, but giving speeches is another.

aka"the shortest date in history".i was cohorst into asking our usual waitress at our usual greasey spoon out for a date "by my friends".just because i didn't have a steady.big deal.
i picked her up,spent 20 minutes being introduced to her 7 siblings(nice irish catholic family).drove 10 minutes to the hippest"date" bar in town.listened to her emasculate me for 15 minutes saying "it's o.k.you don't have a job,i'll pay tonight".finishing with a 6 minute return trip to her house.

When I was 15...

My best friend Dale was away on a school trip to Germany, so I thought I would ask his 18 yr old sister, Jodi, out on a date.

I called Dale's house and Jodi picked up the phone...

Here's how the conversation went and I am being completely open and Honest!

Rooster - Hey JODI!
Jodi - Dale's in Germany...you know that!
Rooster - I know...uh...I wanna talk to you
Jodi - what's up
Rooster - Uh...I wanted to know if you wanted to go see a movie tomorrow night
Jodi - I am busy
Rooster - how about Tuesday?
Jodi - I am busy
Rooster - How anout Wednesday?
Jodi - I AM BUSY
Rooster - UH....how about Thursday?
Jodi - OK

That Thursday was MY 16th Birthday and she had to pick me up because I was not driving yet! LOL

I bought her a rose...and she blushed a little when I gave it to her...

We went to see Regarding Henry, with Harrison Ford, at the local theatre.

I was so in love!!!

During the movie I sat on her right side and stared at her right hand... I wanted to hold that hand so bad....I asked!

Rooster - uh...uh...you wanna hold my hand?
Jodi - No...that's OK

I was crushed...the movie continued and I kept thinking that I must have done that wrong....

So I reached over and gently cupped her hand...

Jodi - Uh....I don't think so...you are my brother's best friend

Here's the best part - I FRIGGIN started crying....not sobbing....but silent tears rolled down my face as I sat and watched the end of the movie in silence....

She drove me home and I got out of the car in complete and utter defeat...and walked silently to my room....
