I personally think its a joke.

they used to have a policy that was really strict in the 90s, but
they claim they got rid of it when "busines went down and it got too
expensive" (AKA HHH was going to get caught and that couldn't happen)

anyone notice it wasn't testing immediatly, since everyone but the women division would be in big trouble

Here is the video if you haven't seen it yet.

WWE drug policy (http://www.wwe.com/content/media/video/494606/1515310/1620152/drugpolicy?section=/)

Personally, I think it's a joke as well. Especially the steroid part. I mean, come on! Half the roster is on that shit, including Vince himself and considering how Vince loves the huge guys there is no way he gonna let them stop doing it.

I think the policy reads "We got busted in the 80s, cracked down in the 90s, ignore it in the 00s"
Anyone who says Batista isn't on the juice is either ignorant or stupid. You don't get that big without enhancement.

I definitely think that Batista is on steroids, along with a significant portion of the rest of the roster. Why are we to think that the steroid problem has subsided, esp. since everyone fits into that "huge and ripped" mold now more than ever before?

Batista is ridiculously huge, as was Hulk Hogan, as was Sid Vicious, as was Lex Luger...you get the picture.

Also, it is my opinion that the back muscle tear that Batista suffered after being chokeslammed by both Kane and Big Show at a recent Smackdown taping and that will likely keep him out of Survivor Series (WWE does not want to admit this because of potential loss of PPV revenue, so they are having him now injured in the storyline as well and will likely pull him out at the very last minute) was actually due to muscle tearing that is common to steroid users, where the muscle becomes too large and heavy for the bone structure to support (the bone frame is too small for the chemically enhanced muscle). This sort of thing was described at length in the current issue of ESPN Magazine, where there is a huge expose of the steroid problem in baseball and how deeply it really runs.

It really seems that steroid use is a huge problem in professional wrestling, esp. with wrestlers trying to live up to Vince McMahon's "look and style over substance" approach. Even the smaller guys are not exempt from scrutiny - look at what happened to the Dynamite Kid because of prolonged steroid use. Even Ric Flair admitted in his book to taking steroids for multiple years bak in the day, to "get that look." Sakes, even Harly Race tried steroids for a short time while in the WWF (and then stopped taking them when he realized that the risks outweight the benefits). I really hate to say this, and it hurts to say this when you are a fan of certain wrestlers and wrestling as a whole, but no one is beyond suspicion for me in WWE at this point.

I hate saying this (and I know I may be condemned as a heretic for even entertaining these thoughts), but even Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle look like they're on The Juice. They probably feel that they need to do it to stay competitive in the land of the giants. If you look at Benoit, while he is still an awesome performer and not a giant by any means, he definitely appears more bulky and "inflated" than he has in the past (look at a closeup of his face and head, and take a listen to how defensive Benoit got when Josh Matthews commented about how much bigger he is now during the DVD commentary for one of his Japan matches). Also, Kurt Angle looks like a monster compared to how he looked when wrestling as an amateur, or during his 1996 ECW appearance.

This whole new policy thing definitely seems like a sham to appease those calling for increased scrutiny after Eddie Guerrero's unfortunate death. They will probably crack down on street drugs and prescription abuse, but I can't imagine them really doing anything about performance enhancers, unless they are ready for much smaller wrestlers, which I doubt.

well said, Benoit and ANgle do look like they are on the juice, and
it sounds dumb but it could to help build up the muscles around their
fragile necks. And can you blame the guys, they aren't pushed and
are the two best wrestlers in the company, but dunbases like orton (who
looks like he went off the juice since his shoulder surgery-look at the
pics), Masters(bater) get handed high spots on teh roster.

even
snitsky was clearly on the juice, the zits on his back, and now he
looks mushy and not solid like he did when he started in the fed.

Personally, I don't think Angle is considered to be "bigger" than Eddie in the pro wrestling world, so that wouldn't make sense to say it would make Eddie's death pale in comparison.

I originally thought it might be Austin considering he's always drinking, but the part about storyline interruption wouldn't make sense. Flair though, that definitely makes sense. After Hogan, he is probably the biggest name in wrestling and considering he always looks like he's about to drop dead when he gets worked up and turns purple, I wouldn't be surprised if he is the one on the death watch.

I'm adding that to the list of other factors.

- He's always blading and juicing heavily in his matches, which as proven by an Eddie Guerrero match where he went into shock because of major blood loss had to be rushed to the hospital, is not healthy for one's body.

- He always looks like he's about to have a stroke or heart attack in the ring when he goes nuts and turns purple.

- He's obviously got some rage issues as shown by that article.

-He's not exactly young.

Hell, it's all just a guessing game at this point, but I still say Flair is a more logical choice for this Death Watch than Batista or Cena.
