There are so many arcade games I remember playing when I was younger. There's so many, I can't even name them all. Help me out!

I loved contra! You know, most of the games from atari, nintendo, etc are still more than good enough to play! I'd give my left nut to play the original metal gear again- well, half my left nut...

no no no. The Contra Nintendo code gave you 30 guys, but if you needed more than 3, you didn't play the game for months like I did. I JUST DID IT! I ALWAYS play my Nintendo. Playstation games are played out for me, and I MISS Super Mario Bros. 3,Kung Fu, and Rush n' Attack.
But as for Arcade games, I LOVES Shinobi, Double Dragon, Street Fighter 2 (original one WITHOUT all the bullshit), and TMNT The Arcade Game. HELLZ YEA! After fighters got into Tekken, and Street Fighter 1000, I lost ALL interest.
It's all AIR HOCKEY NOW!!!

I agree, the NES games are awlaysl the best. I'd sooner play Mega Man than anything on the N-64. I mean I was looking at previews for the new Mario game on the new system and I mean for all the millions put into development and all the technology, they still can't duplicate the excitement you felt when you got the first feather in Mario 3 and flew to get the coins on teh clouds.

The original Contra for Nintendo which I just played a few minutes ago, is 30 lives. Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, B, A, Select Start... was that like a universal code for every Nintendo game?
I also played Guerilla War, Ninja Gaiden, Super Mario, Duck Hunt, Bubble Bobble anyone remember that? Those were a few of my favorites.
Zoinks!

YEA MAN! And at the expense of sounding like a GEEK, I've been collecting my favorite NES games for a while now. I have Bad Dudes, Karnov, Rush N' Attack, Gunsmoke, and a bunch of other games. I'd say about 40+. And they are STILL cool as HELL! And you can keep all that 3D bullshit if the game doesn't have good gameplay!

I don't know if any of you have heard of/ played with MAME but it is an emulator/architecture that allows your computer to load up and play any of hundreds of old video games.
It is very cool but even cooler would be if I were rich and could buy this for the R&F studio and one for myself of course... http://cmdrtaco.net/jubeihttp://cmdrtaco.net/jubei

I loved Galaga, Centipede, Tank Command (I think it was the name -- you looked through a periscope when you played it), and the old Star Wars and Star Trek games.
