<p>he has said on the air that he had her every other weekend, and once per week. Later in her life (after she was 15 or so) he told a story about how he and his first wife were in courts and fighting. he was going to try and get custody, but he knew at that point it was her choice of where she wanted to live, and he knew she would choose her mom because they were really close. He also told a story about how he was paying 75 dollars a week in child support up until 2 or 3 years ago, when they raised it 8 bucks per week and he was bitching about it. I think she is well into her 20's now</p>

<p>Originally I was on the wife's side, because I know that when Billy gets this worked up on the air, I know he has a tendency to exagerrate.&nbsp; I was of the mindset that Billy was an absentee father, and that he was not a part of his daughter's life until recently.</p><p>Now that I'm hearing that Billy had a standard divorce agreement (every other weekend, etc. etc.) I guess he was more involved with the daughter than I thought.</p><p>(DISCLAIMER: I've never been a part of a divorce with kids situation outside of what I've heard, so bear with me)</p><p>If Billy was hurt about what was going on with the wedding proceedings, he really should have brought it up to his daughter about how it was affecting him.&nbsp; It is, after all, his daughter's wedding, not his ex-wife's, so it's ultimately her call about who does what and when.</p><p>Perhaps, and this is just a guess, that considering how close the daughter was to her mom, she wanted her mother to give her away, and she allowed her mom to play the role of the bad guy in how it played out.</p>
