In.  The game starts with limits and gets to no limit quick enough.  This way it gives the new players some time to feel out the game and allows Tom a little longer in the game as a whole.  This tourney is very begginer friendly with the setup, so we've had plenty of newbies and girlfriends who have given it a shot.  Don't be afraid to come out and try your luck as we have a ton of fun.  Oh and I'll take the under on Tom making the final table let alone third.  <img src="http://members.aol.com/dxixrxt/spoon2.jpg" border="0" /> Get your balls out of your purse and step up to flavor! Are they all hockey jerseys??? I got about the same amount. With the most being hockey jersey, followed by football, baseball, basketball.The only authentic hockey ones I got are Senators (Yashin), LA Kings (Gretzky), Penguin (Lemieux)

Yep, about 30 hockey jerseys.  Some world, some NHL, some AHL, some UHL, some WCHL, some junior teams, some college and a bunch of teams I played for myself.  I had so many I packed a bunch of them away.  My favs are the Guelph Storm, Germany, Finland, Sweden, P. Roy, Quebec, my current team's jersey, an old Pittsburg jersey and an old black Avalanche alternate jersey that was never officially used.

Well now that all the maddness has passed, I would like to thank EVERYONE who came out this past year and help to create a very successful semi-regular tournament.At this rate I might be able to make a Tournament of Champions Table, just all the past top winners (1st..not second) on one table for a 50 buck buy in, winner take all. (hmmmmmmmm)But with all the other shit aside, I want to thank everyone who came out this past year and enjoyed yourselves. Spoon, Snoogans, Funk, MdR, Stickey and all those 'regulars' thanks!Even those who came out for just one game like JimmyNYC and JPMnick and the like....I know you will be back for more.   And those who did not make it to ANY games, got more plans for upcoming games so hope you will make the next ones.Again...thanks to all and have a GREAT holiday season.

okay, the trip...about 2 months ago my name got pulled out of a hat and I was told to go to Bar A on December 4th.  So I went, mostly to watch the bears game but also thinking I could win if my name gets pulled again.  Well, it was not like that at all.  We got broken down into groups of 5 and had to play a game where you spin a wheel and move your football according to what you spun on the wheel.  Well, I, apparently, am the best wheel spinner known to man....nah just lucky I guess.  So I get the trip, airfare, welcoming party hosted by miller lite at the Hard Rock Cafe, Superbowl Party with VIP seating at the ESPN Zone, and 500 dollar american express debit card...Envy me! (go bears!)
