View Full Version : Name that snake
<p>This morning I let my dog out and look over by my pool to see this
little guy sun bathing. Not really sure what kind of snake it is but it
looks pretty. </p><p> </p><p><img border="0" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/ag1247/Snake.jpg" /> <a title="For all your business needs" href="http://idemco.net"></a></p>

It's called the "Precious Kissing Snake", known for being extremely gentle around humans and if you grab him and put him right up to your face, he'll give you a little kiss! They also taste like strawberries if you decide to lick him.

Turns out its NOT a corn snake but a water moccasin. So much for trying
to drown it in my pool, the thing escaped and is now on the loose again<br />

not a cottonmouth moccasin. It looks more like a copperhead moccasin.
Usually, that's what they are, and are very dangerous. The cottonmouth
one is closer to black color with the diamonds on it. </p><p> </p>
