per pwinsider Styles is at Taboo Tuesday and sounds as if he may host the PPV and start hosting Raw also.  i'm a huge Styles fan and anything that lessens how much I need to hear Coach is good.

Man, this would be huge if he became the new announcer for RAW. Fuck Coach! How many dicks did he suck anyway to become this big star? I have to say, I read the Joey Styles interview on WWE.com and this one line really cracked me up. Not only is it funny, but it's so true. Styles:  As far as I know, though, I was brought in for one evening because Coach cannot wrestle and do play-by-play at the same time, and some would argue that he can’t do either.

wow, how the mighty have fallen. Although i'm all ECW being promoted and pushed ( Rhino as a champ is great and i'm eagerly waiting for the return of RVD) i dont like this at all. Joey was the voice of ECW. it was cool when he was on the ppv but its like he's selling out. if he went to TNA i'd be a little more comfortable or ok, but wwe was like something unatural. but lets see what they do.

I thought Joey Styles did a great job on Raw. My only problem is there still doing that three man thing with Coach STILL there.I cannot stand Coach being overbearing and always trying to talk over JR and Lawler at the time, now it continues with Styles.  The Coach is worthless and it looks like they won't take him out of announce table anytime soon. Oh well.

yeah I thought Styles did pretty good.  I think they may be keeping Coach in there to see who Styles has better chemistry with...  The King or The Coach.  I dunno.

I agree that with Coach again added to the commentary...it just seems like a clusterfuck. Lawler/Styles would be calling the match and Coach would bring up some random stupid ass bullshit,almost completely silencing Styles, but at the same time pretty much trapping Lawler into saying something stupid as well.

I like Coach as a character. He'd be a good manager.I think he's just in the booth because King hasn't been a heel in a long time and they want someone to banter with JR/Styles.Plus his first name starts with a J. It's mandatory for Raw.Jerry, Jim, Joey, Jonathan.

How the might have fallen???  As down as I can be on the WWE product, it has always been better than ECW.  Doing play by play for WWE is the biggest thing Styles has ever done.  He did a fine job last night, but they need to jettison Coach.  Styles did just fine with Lawler at Taboo Tuesday, and maybe he can actually reign King in.  So long as he doesn't get too damn excited (with the "OH MY GOD!") shit, Styles may be just fine as Raw announcer.

I agree totally.I always thought that Michael Cole did the same thing to keep his job at Smackdown.  Cole is just one of the reasons I don't watch Smackdown and it annoys me that he's still there after all these years.

I liked Styles on Monday, but I think we'll see the dynamic change over
the next couple weeks.  Currently, Styles hasn't set his WWE
character yet and the three of them haven't set their dynamic
yet.  But I think Styles was a great choice.

after reading the interview it doesn't seem like coach is leaving the announce table but it great to know that styles will be there for at least five more years

The McMahons fired J.R., Linda even kicked him in the nuts. Then at Taboo Tuesday Styles was the announcer. He was given a five wek tryout on Raw, they liked him and recently signed him for five years.

my problem with Coach is he doean't have a set character, he'll go form
heel, to just an analyst, back to heel in the same match. He's not that
bad if he was a straight color analyst, but when he trys to put his
character into it, it makes his work less.  This could be said the
same for Lawler, but Lawler is mroe consistant during a match where
he'lll stay heel in one entire match, then maybe change up for the
entire next match
