After reading all of the books, this is the awesomest. Although, it
sucks that they probably won't leave anything to your imagination.
Still, Roland of Gilead is the Master of all Badasses.<br />

Sheepy wanted us to post more about comics? Fine, here we go.
Marvel's going to start another Dark Tower arc (http://marvel.com/catalog/?id=8339)starting in March. I don't know if anyone read the first arc, but I loved it. The art was perfect and it brought a great dimension to the story. Can't wait to see this one.

bumping old threads with new news sucks.
i enjoyed the first series though, will be cool to see it continue.
i wish the creators of that carnivale show would finish it up with a nice "graphic novel"

I thought this was half good- Wizard and Glass turned out to be one of my favorite books in the series despite being frustrating if yuo read all the books in order. While I wasnt happy that the initial run covered stuff in this book in less detail, I am psyched that the second run is supposed to be all new material. Loved the art.

Now Marvel's doing a series based on King's The Stand (http://www.newsarama.com/comics/080617-marvel-sept-solicits.html)

The next arc they're doing for Dark Tower looks pretty cool.
I'll read The Stand but I feel like there is alot less room to be creative.

It's gotta be better than that garbage TV miniseries they did for "The Stand."
Of course, that's still better than the other one he did for "The Shining", which proved that Kubrick understood the novel better than he did.

That godawful thing. My wife just watched it for the first time on demand. Fucking Max Headroom as a the explosion guy. Flagg's society of bad people in Vegas looked like all the people you fought in Double Dragon at the arcade. Horrible leather jackets and spikes. Utter shite.

I loved the Stand miniseries when it was first on, but I had never read any King books and was like 10 at the time. We recently got it on Netflix and man, does not hold up at all.
