I got your Link....Right HERE!

I won't act like I'm smart or I search the web for news. I got this off Drudge.

Seems Eminem won't even return a phone call to Bono and some other guy setting up that Live 8 thing when asked to be a part of it. They even sent him photos of kids in 3rd world contries wearing Eminem and D-12 shirts. Kind of a lame move by the Life 8 people, but Eminem is so big he couldn't return a phone call?

This is kinda funny too because all these hip hop and rap acts like to play it up as if they're still "real people." They came from the streets. Even now that they're filthy rich, they still do things pretty much like they did before and never forget the little people in the streets.

Bullshit.

I dont care if Eminem hands out blankets at a homeless shelter or sets bums on fire while they sleep. Either way I just like his 1st couple albums and could care less about the rest. Just a funny tidbit.

I agree with you. I think when someone succeeds in life and gets wealthy enough where they actually can help they should to some degree.

Pushing It on people isn't right though. Not everyone cares and there entitled to that opinion. I just wont vote for Eminem for president.

I think if they can afford Eminem Merchandise then they should probably get some basic necessities first. Unless Of Course, someone set these kids up to persuade Eminem. Or possibly they were donated clothes that these kids have no idea what it really means.

Geldof and Bono should have just asked him to write a check. Calling him out about it now sure isn't going to help in getting him involved.

I don't think famous people have an obligation to help people out. Those of us who aren't rich or famous aren't expected to help people. Why the double standard?

We give too much to other countries if you ask me.

Eminem contributes money in Detroit and programs around our country.

We have enough problems here then to give elsewhere, maybe if Africa did something as a whole to some of their own continent problems like Robert Mugabe and the things he has done to change the country from the jewel of Africa and its leader in agriculture to the ruin it is in now.

Or maybe we stop giving to these countries that consistently bad mouth us (Venezuela) and do nothing but cash our checks while bashing us in the UN.

Its like the song says: Fuck the world don't ask me for shit, everything you get you got to work hard for it

???

I never said anything about what they should or shouldn't do.

I'm not one to look into other people pockets. What I AM saying is; if Rockstars and Athletes agree to be featured on "it's good to be..." and "lifestyles of the rich and famous" and "Cribs" etc etc, then they should be prepared to catch a little heat when it comes to their charitable donations.

Demi Moore spends 50,000 a year on specially bottled water that she uses to wash her hair. If she wants to do that....FINE. But, she damn well better expect that some people who have NO clean water to drink are gonna have a problem with it.

Jeesh.
