Do NOT get an iPod.get yourself a normal MP3 player.Apple is turning into Microsoft with their array of propriotery tools.Just get something that is PC compatible.  I have a Samsung Yepp and it is great and there are no restrictions and no hassle moving my music around.

I kinda like my iPod.  If I ever have to buy one myself, I'll get whatever's the best value for the money though, and that's probably not the iPod.

A car kit is just a fucking tape adapter, isn't it?  I mean these batteries last awhile, just charge it in the hosue at night and drive with it during the day.  No need for a pricey hook up.
