nice to read that TNA gave Rhino the belt last night. not sure what the plan would have been if Nash was able to wrestle, but its a step in the right direction.

how?

Rhino went from being a WWE jobber to being TNA champ?

It should have gone to Samoa Joe, AJ, or even a damn dudley brother. not Rhino

they had a match to determine who Jarrett would wrestle. Joe would have been great, but anything is better then Jarrett...well, not Nash.

Actually he went from ECW champ to WWE jobber and now back to being a champ again.

Right now, though, most of the audience remembers Rhino as the WWE jobber, and a small percentage remember him as the ECW Double champ. So if you are a new or casual fan, you will see TNA as a second rate promotion if a guy who held no belts in WWE and didn't accomplish making much of a mark at all is the best TNA has to offer.

I think it would have been a smarter move to have Samoa Joe win the title. Same storyline, wins three important matches, gets a chance at the title and remains undefeated.

Maybe they are setting up a clash between these two big guys. Rhino could just be a transitional champ to Samoa Joe.

or jarrett wins it back in another exciting plot turn.....................blehh

I think Jarrett will regain the title on the two hour Thursday special. I hope Samoa Joe or Monty Brown is the next contender for the title.

Heart problem. I guess if he didn't go to the hospital early he would have had a heart attack.
The majority of casual fans will remember Rhino for being an ex-ECW champ - only the hardcore fans will remember his time as a WWE jobber. Look at Raven. Do people remember Raven as the guy who jobbed for a year or two on Heat? He's remembered for his time in ECW.

And I don't get where you say Rhino never won titles in the WWE, he won several, and was one of the most heavily pushed guys on the roster during the WCW / ECW Invasion angle.

I didn't have a problem with them putting the belt on Rhino, since at least they put him over stron on the PPV, although with the quick title change back to Jarrett, I question what the point was. I'd like to see Joe with the belt, but that needs to be weeks or months down the line.

Rhino, held then Hardcore belt in the WWE which was basically not a belt. I think they did an amazing job with him winning the belt and they can;t worry how people perceive there champ. They have to do what they think is best for the company.

For what it's worth, Lords of Pain is reporting the return of Sting as
the 'major change', based on talk that Spike wanted a more recognizable
face for Impact. There have also been some rumors of limited
touring. All pure speculation, though. Definitely nothing concrete or
confirmed.
sting is a big name and all but i dont see that as being a major change i think the limited touring might be the more likely change

By the looks of lastnights ppv stings coming in for a shot a jarrett and again the jarrett matchs will be the worst on the cards. As for lastnight Soma Joe vs Styles had to be the best match i've seen in years.

Heard that Jeff Hardy no-showed again. Well, to be honest I was a fan of him, but this is ridiculous...I really think TNA should finally stop booking this asshat
