I hate them at the DMV or places like Jury Duty.  NO ONE is going ANYWHERE for a VERY long time, and you get some dumbass with unlimited anytime minutes talking about the most ANNOYING shit on the planet.THANK GOD I take my iPod everywhere I go now.  I don't even own a cellphone because I don't need one.  People can wait until I get near a phone to get me.

Cell phones in general don't really bother me. I do get annoyed by those damn Nextel things with the 2-way radio feature. It's one thing when you hear the person who has the phone, but to hear the one who's talking to them... THAT'S annoying! I also hate the constant beeping after every message.

I got to add to the list the dopes with actual songs for ringtones....When they go off unexpectedly in class it scares the hell out of me....not to mention makes me cringe cause its usually something either awful/sexually suggestive...

LOUD talking gets my vote too! I also saw a woman try to keep talking on her cell while picking up her food at the counter in McDonalds. She dumped the whole thing, including 2 large sodas on the floor and then looked annoyed like it was somebody else's fault!

It would seem the thing to do at concerts these days is once the band starts their set, call up a few friends and have them listen, or start taking horrific, shitty pics that are unwatchable.Attentive listening to the concert they paid money for doesnt seem to be a priority with these peeps; begging the Q, why fucking go?=The cel phone I bought two years ago has been used perhaps a dozen times; shit aint that important, and when I'm out, I like to leave most technology behind.

Yes you can use your nextel walkie talkies like a phone, you just open the phone and turn off the GC/DC speaker off and listen and talk like you are on the phone.And worse then the cell phones are people with Black Berries who while you talk to them scroll through a new email, they have them for people at my work and i walk out of rooms when people start checking their blackberries while i am talking

I hate when people use them in less than public places.By that I mean closed areas. like the DMV mentioed earlier, stores, elevators.I had a woman walk into 7-11 just ahead of me this morning and she was yapping the whole way in, while she took 10 minutes to get her coffee, through checkout and then out the door again.It's f'ing rude.

I don't mind people talking on their cell phones as long as they are courteous to those around.I can't stand the people that talk loud enough for you to hear how important they are...or the important decisions he is making while sitting at the car wash.  They are talking so loud that you KNOW their company can not survive without their valuable input and decisions.

Yeah the loud talking sucks, the ringtones suck, but the kicker for me is the talking in theaters. I've gotten into some nasty confrontations telling people to shut the fuck up in the movie theater.

As far as the nextels, I hate the people who have their volmure up loud while using the 2-way. I own a nextel and I use the feature with some courtesy. I always have the volume low and if I'm indoors I will usually turn of the speaker like KO said.

Another aspect of the cell phone that bothers me is the "Look how important I am" feeling getting and sending calls seemst to give these wastes of space.I know I have nothing to back up my assumption, but a lot of these people have to just be doing this to look like they have friends.  Just for the outward apperance.  I don't care either way because I'll never see your loud talking ass again, but shut the fuck up for the short time you're within earshot.

This girl I know just bought one of those Sidekick things (cell phone with a keyboard type thing on it.  You can get on the internet and all that with it).  I can never log in AIM anymore because she's always logged in and can talk to my ANY time of the day.  It's fucking annoying.  I can never get away from her.
