I wanted to put up a thread to ask the question " DO YOU REMEMBER" in other words.. If you are trying to remember a SONG, MOVIE LINE, TIME IN HISTORY.. ANYTHING and you want to ask the RON AND FEZ fans, perhaps they know the answers? Thats what I hope to achieve here. I apologize if there is a similar thread.I'll start..  Do you remember about 20+ years ago there was a toy futuristic "TANK" goldish colored , Remote controlled ( with wire) space type, all sorts of attachments ( wings, guns) About g.i.joe sized tank with a plastic canopy? Any ideas? I remembered having one as a kid and I really want to get one again. Please help Buddays!

What I am going for here ( it may be stupid) is People helping other people remember thing..example: Who were those ladies on that show " THE MAGIC GARDEN" ?   Carole and Paula Who was the guy that did the voice for "Zartan" on the old G.I. Joe cartoons?   Zack HoffmanThats stuff is easy and for the most part can be found on the net. Im was hoping that some of the fans would know answers to questions that may NOT be so easy to find on the net. Ya know? I just thought that it would be interesting.. I could be wrong :(

The little Gi joes.. it fit them, but definatly was not a gi joe toy, the control was HUGE had lots of buttons, Im thinking it was from Radio shak.. Im prob wrong.

I got one:Back in the 70's there was a (briefly lived) TV show a bout a cop (I think he was a cop but maybe he was a P.I.) and his partner who was a robot.Does anyone remember this show?

Good try, but thats not it.. it was GOLD coloerd or light tan.. it had a remote control that was attached to a long wire. the control looks like a military phone.. I think. and had tank treds.. what was that toy - spaceship sorta rocket/airplane shaped - the thing made an engine noise, and when you tipped up the nose, the sound got higher pitched (like it was accelerating) and when you tipped the nose down it got slower and lower pitched.  It had a detachable nose thingie and these fighters that came off the wings....

Seriously though, has anyone else ever heard of The Ghost Gun?<img height="177" src="http://www.timewarptoys.com/ghostgun.jpg" width="285" border="0" />This was absolutely my favorite toy of all time.  I've never met another human being who had one or has any idea what I'm talking about.You would put these film strips in the gun.  There was a flashlight device inside so when you turned off the house lights it would project an image of a ghost on the wall.  When you pulled the trigger it would burn a hole in the film strip thereby shooting the ghost on the wall depending on how good your aim was.  It also made a spooky sound when you shot it.   Ahhhh good times, good times.

Man, this thread's got me reliving my entire childhood.  Is there anyone else here who grew up in the New York area old enough to remember The 4:30 Movie on Channel 7 WABC?  They would have a lot of theme weeks.  My two personal favorites were the Godzilla movie weeks and the Planet of the Apes movie weeks.  I also remeber that a lot of Charlton Heston movies were in heavy rotation, like Soylent Green and The Omega Man.Looking back now I realize that the movies must have been heavily edited because they ran for only an hour and a half and that included comercials.  I would sit plastered in front of the TV until the 6 o'clock news came on with Roger Grimsby and Bill Buetel.I found a couple of interesting websites.  One has the theme which I can't believe I forgot but now that I heard again I'm pretty sure it's going to be rattling around my head for weeks.  <a href="http://home.earthlink.net/~kfp/">http://home.earthlink.net/%7Ekfp/</a><a href="http://www.dvddrive-in.com/TV%20Guide/430movielogo.htm">http://www.dvddrive-in.com/TV%20Guide/430movielogo.htm</a>

WPIX NY had a game on the TV, they would call a kid and he would say " PIX PIX PIX" everyt ime he wanted the lazer to fire on screen ( like asteroids) Remember that??

how about that gooey stuff you squeezed out of a tube, rolled into a ball, and put on the end of a straw and then blow it into a ball. sometimes you would chew on it because it looked like gum but it just didn't taste so good...  it was good to have around if you ran out of lead paint chips

pretty sure that in the 80's it was only aired on Sunday mornings (WPIX
Channel 11).  Around the summer of 2003 R and F were doing one of
their great old school segments when I mentioned this cartoon to Ron
but I had forgotten the name.  Soon after several D.C callers
chimed in with the title and some brief stories about the cartoon and
what it meant to them.  While we are talking old school....  
I know I've tried several times here on the board in various threads
but I'll try again.  Would anyone know where to find the ORIGINAL
theme song for the "Children's Aid Society"?  I have been looking
for that tune for AGES!

do you remember when a slice of pizza was less than a buck?Yes I remember going to Pizza King on Straight path and getting 2 slices and an orange crush for 1.25.I used to have the guns of Navarone when I was a kid.  Did anyone have the shooting gallery that shot bb's?  There was the ducks that went around a big yellow lion wth his head on a spring.
