A friend of a friend has asked me to burn some copies of a DVD that someone burned of her choreography. It's not a commercial DVD, so there are no issues with copy protection. I know a couple of different ways that I can do this, but the methods I know of require an extensive rendering process. Is there a utility out there for making quick and easy copies of non-commercial DVDs?

I know my friend Grim uses Alchohol or some utility like that. Not sure if it's freeware or what the hell it really is to be honest. I don't own a DVD burner yet.

Pinnacle Instant CD/DVD works if it's just a straight copy.

If you are just copying DVD to DVD, use Nero or Roxio Easy Media Creator or Sony Record Now. Just put the original in the DVD player, put a blank DVD into the recorder, insert both, follow on screen instruction and burn.

DVD Decrypter should work. Just set it to ISO Read mode to copy the
disc. Then set it to ISO Write mode and put in a blank disc to burn the
image you made. This will also work for commercial discs.
mikey, just follow Ana's advice. If it's a privately recorded
dvd, it's not going to be protected, so you can do a straight copy.
