Windows Media Player - You Stink

Am I the only one who thinks that WMP is bad. It hardly works, crashes often and takes too long to load files. Real Player players files a lot better. Am I using it wrong or does WMP, in fact, Stink. Also can anyone else suggest an alternative, better, movie player?

The new version that comes with Windows XP rocks. Don't know if its out for Win9x/NT yet, but it can even play DVDs.

IKEABOY - I've been using WMP ever since it came out and I've never had any problems with it. Each update makes it even better.

Check the MS website to make certain you have the latest version.

I use Winamp or KaZaA to watch my media files. Windows Media Player has sucked since they added a whole bunch of stuff like a year ago.

The problem is I've downloaded a few MP43 codec files and I downloaded the code, installed it and Kazaa doesn't play it, WMP doesn't play it. my Real Player plays it but the sound is fucked.

windows media player blows. i use winamp and it works fine.

divx-dighest. The new codec
is very limited because not
many movies have been
encoded in yet.
