Women hate the Three Stooges for the most part because they are the more complex of the species. Men are base and vulgar creatures and the Stooges appeals the the most basic tenet of humor that a man posesses: Laughing at another mans misfortune. The beauty of the Three Stooges is that it's not complicated. It's stupid goofy fun which most women can't understand and that's why the humor of most women comics just COMPLETELY escapes us. That's because it's so far above anything a man could understand that we just think Why is that fuinny?, Will this bitch EVER stop whining? or Damn Caroline Rea has a nice rack <P>

The answer is obvious to men and subconsious to women.Next time you watch an episode,pay attention to the way they treat "their" women.If they are pretty,the Stooges do back-flips for them.If the girls are ugly and fat,they throw a brick at them or something.Sometimes the women don't even have to be offensive in any way to get abused.

I never really thought about women hating the three stooges-- but come to think of it, they do kind of make mockery of the women in their films. Slapstick is always funny-- it's just a form of entertainment and I like the Stooges AND Beavis and Butthead. I just can't stand Johnny Bravo!
