View Full Version : double packet Mac n Cheese

Holy shit was that a bad idea.

Last week, I went out for a few drinks (ok more than a few) with some friends and came home with a drunken hankering for some mac n cheese. I ended up falling asleep while the macaroni was cooking- all of the water boiled away, and all I was left with was a hunk of black carbon that was once sexy little noodles. That's a story for another time- the point is I still had the packet of neon orange fake dry cheese.

So I made some mac n cheese again yesterday to eat during the Giant game, this time sober, but apparently with the same decision making skills. I thought it would be a good idea to use 2 packets of fake cheese instead of one! With a proportionate amount of milk and butter, this could only be a good thing right? Who doesn't want more cheese?!?! Am I right, or am I right?!?

Wrong. Holy shit, was it disgusting. That crap sat like a damn rock in my stomach until the monster doody I dropped this morning. Never again.

Hahahahahahahahaha!

On a related note. Am I the only one who
can just eat the normal Kraft Mac and Cheese and not the weird ones
with shapes. Those ones suck.

Once i was jonsin' mac & cheese but had an extra package of that fake cheese, but no mac to go with it, so i ended up trying to make it with a package of ramen noodles. not the same thing :(

my mom would make the best mac & cheese. she'd add ground beef, tomatoes and onions, and sprinkle some "real" cheese on top until it was a crispy, golden brown. She'd also make it with just cut up hot dogs.

I am not eating macaroni and cheese ever again after my experience last semester. I got totally drunk and a couple of us made mac n cheese with hot sauce and "i cant believe its not butter". Tasted good going down, but not so good going back up...

Not that there's anything wrong with that, in fact, it sounds amazing.
[ Theodore Roosevelt ]
I agree with the both of you. The different shapes make the way you chew it and the way the cheese stuff sticks to the noodles different. I mean I thought macaroni was a type of pasta shape. It's not macaroni and cheese anymore when you're chewing Pikachu and Charizard.
was this a powder based cheese? or a cheesy sauce substance? if it was a powder, shame on you. i'd rather eat my own belly button lint. and next time i reccomend putting tunafish in the mixture. its a nice blend.

I actually enjoy the powdered mac and cheese way more than the Velveeta type stuff with the oozing cheese. Not sure why, maybe just used to it.
