Google Print Controversy

<p>I was was wondering what people thought of this? Google Print allows
users to search full text of books. They are working with several
Universities to copy whole libraries so that people can search through
books on google. The problem is copyright infringement. Personally I
think it would be great. Being a College student I would easily be able
to find and book I need and view it online with the greatest of ease. I
hope they go through with this.<font color="#008000"><strong><br />

I used to work at a college text book publishing company. Seems to me that only certain books with the author's copyrights would be available in this medium. There's no way a college book publisher who owns the copyright would allow this; it costs A LOT to produce a text book. That's why many texts are shrink wrapped with all the bells and whistles and cost an arm and a leg.
