when my flow is heavy, i use <a href="http://www.keeper.com/">the keeper</a>. the keeper is a menstrual cup you insert into your vagina. it's safe to use and you can even wear it overnight. you can click on the link to find out more about the keeper.

when my flow is not so heavy, i use self-made cloth pads.

i try to not use tampons because they are evil.

Tampons are god. I have no clue how girls could use anything but. It's like "hmmm... I have 2 choices. I could stick this little piece of cotton up my cooch and feel dry, as if I'm not actually bleeding profusely from the crotch, or I could put on this diaper and walk around feeling all squingy, smelling like someone left a ham at the morgue. but my friend was telling me
about it over the summer and
how it was awesome for when

I have to say, however, that
honestly I have never met a

I have a doctor's appointment next week to get the pill. I'm kinda scared though. I've heard it could have a number of side effects. I've been told that it could either clear up your skin, make you lose weight, regulate your period and put you in a good mood, OR it could give you acne, make you a fat ass, totally fuck up your period and make you bitchy all the time. Then i was also told that this is all a myth. Any info would be much appreciated. I also just heard that next year they're coming out with a pill that works on some sort of 3 month cycle, so you only get your period every 3 months. NICE.

regular pill, skip your 7

Tampons all the way. For the really heavy flowing days, I use a pantyliner with my tampon...I hate stains. lol


The pill is indeed the best thing ever invented. I need to go back on it also. It cleared my skin, there is no excess water weight. You are always in a GOOD mood. I want to hear more about this period every 3 months deal, that is fantastic if it's true.

Sex during your period is really cool in the shower. Something about seeing your blood go down the drain is a real turn on. Besides the more moistness the better it feels. Then afterwards, since you're already in the shower it's easy cleanup. Not like crime scene sex on your bed, which is totally uncool. I hope I'm not being gross.

Yes, the pill is awesome! I
knew, for a fact, that I would
start my period on overy
fourth Wednesday of the month.
It cleared up my skin BUT it
does not protect against
venereal diseases and HIV. It
would sometimes *F* with my
hormones until I was ready to
jump out of my own skin.
Besides, IT'S A PAIN IN THE
ASS TO TAKE A PILL EVERY

find them in the healthfood
store!

I thought of using the natural
sponges and even the cup you

alice s. fuzzybutt, to me, products like natracare are the exception. but i still think that all major companies that produce any menstrual products (and "feminine hygiene" products) are evil because they don't really give a fuck about the women they are selling to.

the companies that are trying to sell us these products are telling us that we should feel ashamed of our bodies. i don't think that's right.

i don't need a goshdarned playtex deodorant tampon. i can keep my vagina clean and smelling like roses on my own.

i don't need a lame ass tampax compact floral pack. why should i hide the fact that i bleed every month? that's as natural as blinking my eyes. i don't need to hide it.

to me, most of these major companies are greedy and they're trying to make money from my menstrual cycle, from my blood, but i won't let them. i'd rather make my own reusable pads and wear the keeper, which is actually very comfortable once you get used to it. it will also last me for at least 8 or more years.

I'm on the pill...been on it for
awhile now and i love it
except my periods are
messed up. I wont get it for
2 months then get it for 2
weeks then not get it
another 2 months. It cleared
my skin and i wasn't nearly
as moody. I also took the
Loestrin FE for more iron
because I needed it. THe
only problem and i see it
alot in the pharmacy i work
at is that most insurance
companies don't cover it.
Ortho Tri Cyclen is 31.89 for
28 pills. The cost is worth it.
My friend was on it and
she's been anorexic for
years and her weight
