View Full Version : Trying to recall name of old kids show

OK, this was a live action kids show from the late 70's early 80's.It took place on a space station.There was a boy and a girl and I think they talked to each other in some strange way, maybe through a video screen?  The boy may have been on earth and the girl was in the space station.I think it may have been on early Sunday mornings.  It didn't fit in with the Saturday morning cartoons.The closing credits showed the space station (very low budget effects) over a theme that was almost classical music.For some reason this show popped into my head a few weeks ago and I can't remember the name of it.  Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

Everytime someone brings up an old kids show they don't fully remember, it always takes me back to some crazy show I used to get up and watch at like 5 or 6 every Saturday.  I had insomnia at like 8, that's gotta be healthy.Sorry, I don't know your show name either.

I think the show was called Space Academy starring Jonathan Harris from Lost in Space.

It was <a href="http://www.starstuff.net/main.html" target="_blank">STARSTUFF!</a>Someone on IMDB pointed me out to a website and now it makes sense I couldn't find anything on it.  A local show from Philadelphia that aired 18 episodes in 1980.Anyone ever see this?  I almost had the description down... what I had forgotten was that they were communicating through time!  Cheesy, classic kids stuff.  Just look at the old computer junk that made it possible!  And they would show each other short movies - many of them Laurel and Hardy shorts!  <img height="113" src="http://www.starstuff.net/images/star04tn.jpg" width="150" border="0" /><img height="113" src="http://www.starstuff.net/images/star10tn.jpg" width="150" border="0" /><img height="113" src="http://www.starstuff.net/images/star14tn.jpg" width="150" border="0" /><img height="113" src="http://www.starstuff.net/images/star06tn.jpg" width="150" border="0" />
