I used to play this Bingo scratch off game from the NJ Lottery. I really liked it because it has a lot of scratching to do, so it took me more time to lose my money.

I tired that whole "Set of numbers you play every drawing" stuff too, and never won dick, so I stopped after like a month or so.

People who play their numbers never keep track of wins or losses, but they always lose WAAAAAY more than they win. I'll just keep my money, thanks.

www.unhallowed.com One Big SeXXXy Blog

I won $5,000 on a scratch-off here in Massachusetts last year. 4 years ago I won $2,500 on a Win for Life ticket in New York.

I stopped playing scratch-offs about 6 mos ago because it was getting addictive. I can't begin to tell you how much money I wasted doing those things.

I really liked it because it has a lot of scratching to do, so it took me more time to lose my money.

=

That's the way to do it, as opposed to the Scratch-Off junkie I saw once. Food place in Belmar, NJ shore, I'm eating and a guy comes in and orders 20 of the $10 scratch off cards; he then scratches off the little box with the serial number of the ticket; apparently this is all you need to know if it's a winner; he then asks they be run through the machine to see if theyve won. He dropped $200, maybe a minute total.

While I was in college I once had 5 out of 6 numbers in the NJ Lotto. The sixth number was 33 and I had 32. I won $2,000. If I had only had that last number I would have won $9 million. I can not express how bittersweet it was to cash that $2,000 check.

As I recall, a good portion of that money was almost immediately spent at a strip club as my friends took me out to "celebrate".

I hated scratch off's. I never won more then 40 bucks. Thousands of dollars and I got exited when I saw three 20$'s... It was a terrible habit.

had 5 out of 6 on a pick6 once... 5 in a row as i read the numbers right to left off the board on the side of a fridge at the local candy store. i was so upset 'almost in tears' as i realized one number would have made my life and my families lives a little bit easier. i would have gotten 3 mill before taxes

i had two sets of numbers on the ticket "that i picked' by making a design on the 'fillout card' and the 1st number that i was missing was the first number in my other set of numbers. so the number i needed was on the ticket just an 16th of an inch away.

after getting over the initial disappointment i made myself happy thinking i'd get at least 3 grand. i turned and the store owner asked me what was going on and i said i had 5 out of 6. he pointed to where i can see the winning amount and i looked and couldn't believe i was looking at 3 digits. it turned out to only be 673.00. now i was down again.

then i picked my spirits up by thinkin i'll walk out of the store with 673.00 cash but OH NOOOOO! the store owner said i had to fill out a tax form for anything over 499 and i wouldn't get my money for 5 weeks or so. plus i had to pay over 20% tax. i was fucking depressed. i won some money but felt as if i lost big time. i didn't even want to tell anyone

I buy three dollars worth every Tues and Friday for Mega Millions. I've
lost more than I've won, but it's a low price to pay for the
entertainment. Besides, I enjoy the interaction I have with the people
who sell me the tickets.
I never play, except for the odd wild hair. Friends of my family, however, played all the same numbers all the time, in the DC, VA and MD lotteries. About ten years ago they pocketed about a grand from Maryland, then, about four years later, they nailed 3 million. Pretty awesome. What was nice about them was that here was an example of a couple that really did it right with life - they raised two decent young men, the youngest was getting ready to graduate, Dad was a few months away from retiring, and Mom was considering staying on at the small school she was working at. They never lived beyond their means, nor had anything fancy. Growing up their charity and compassion always impressed me - she had actually been a nun for a number of years. They had foster kids for a number of years during their marriage. Just two very sweet people. The only thing outrageous they did for themselves was get a BMW, because she had always wanted one. Other than that, they collect about $90K a year, for 25 years, after taxes where they pretty much just travel and travel. Nice.

I once went to a 7-11 in West Virginia, after having a bad "ex-wife"
experience. I had $5.00 in my pocket. I bought a pack of Camels and two
scratch-off tickets. One of the tickets was a $20.00 winner. I bought a
bottle of bourbon and some cola.

It was a good day...

Pick-3 $212.50. I bought two tickets so double that.

Pick-4 100 something.

Scratch
off $20. (All my numbers matched up so it was 10 x$ 2.00= 20. I thought
it was one of those gag lottery tickets cause everything was a winner
plus my sister gave the ticket to me for my birtday).
One time I won $775 in Take Five in NYS and a few times I won on a scratch off ticket that paid $500 each. I do agree that the lottery should rethink the allocation of prize money to draw more gamblers.
you have two choices: Castration or a one way ticket to New York

Even though there are not big winners, you can still win some good coin... anywhere from 2 bucks to 300 grand.

This guy I work with, he's 1 year older then me. He just hit for $50,000 and 2 years before he hit for just about $30,000 on the same numbers. Mother fucker! I NEVER buy lotto tickets. I've seen my grandmother and a friends father just blow $500 a month on lotto. I ALWAYS thought they were crazy. Although my father got me addicted to scratch offs at a young age. He would buy them for my brothers and I since I was 11. I get a twitch everytime I walk into a bodega. If I have like $2 change I wont feel right without buying the scratch off. BTW from 11yrs old to present day I've never won over $100. Mother fucker!

Dimebag Darryl Abbott
1966 - 2004
Find me on MySpace and be my friend!
