Google Desktop 2

[Meve]

<p><a href="http://desktop.google.com/about.html" target="_self">Google Desktop 2 </a>has
just been realeased and I was wondering if anyone has ventured to try
it. I've downloaded it and it is currently indexing my computer. I
think it would serve as a powerful tool to find files on my new 160gig
hard drive. Let me know what you think...<br />

I use the Google toolbar for it's pop up blocking feature, but I would never install a tool like that to index my entire hard drive.&nbsp; I don't trust Google enough for it to put itself that deeply into my system.

I used the original google desktop and it really was a life
saver.&nbsp; let me find things so easily, and in one case, retrieve a
text file I needed and had thought I had accidentally lost for good.<br />
