Polish pastry 'has the face of Jesus'

A Michigan woman is selling a Polish pastry which she says features the face of Christ on eBay.

Donna Lee, from Point Place, made the pierogi as she cooked the family's dinner at Easter, reports WTOL.

She said: "The last one I flipped over was Jesus, so I flipped the spatula, and my husband goes: "What? There's Jesus!" and he goes: "Oh my God!""

Donna kept the pierogi, a Polish delicacy with a savoury filling, frozen in a plastic bag since and has now put it up for auction on eBay.

Last year, a US woman sold a toasted cheese sandwich with the image of the Virgin Mary on eBay for $28,000.

The Lees are hoping to have similar results. It had only reached $1,000 at the time of publishing but Golden Palace Casino, which bought the toastie, was said to be among the bidders.

http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_1497433.html?menu=

I haven't seen this yet on eBay

I wish there was a way to get an account, bid 10,000 dollars and never pay. I would love to see these idiots crying on the news about how someone totally scammed them.

Man- now there's an untapped market if I've ever seen one- Spend a few hunndred on some pierogies, bread and cheese for grilled sandwiches, maybe pancake batter, some french toast and cook your ass off. Through pure probability Jesus or some other major religious icon will show up in your food- At very worst you eat like a fucking king for a few weeks.

Potato w/lots of cheese? (Mmmm)Sauerkraut? That icky prune butter stuff? Before I drop one large on a potentially sacred pierogi I want to be damn sure its tasty!
