<p>Over the last 3 months, my fake radio show has been reduced to me calling Sirius and XM radio and busting balls with service reps. Great show eh?</p><p>I was surprised to hear how BOTH companies just talk S to their callers and LIE to them. Outright. </p><p>Sirius reported to us about a month ago (live on the air) &nbsp;that Ron and Fez were coming to&nbsp;Sirius&nbsp;with Howard Stern. - I even posted that clip on RF.net</p><p>One night , an XM rep told me that Stern was coming to ch 202.&nbsp; When I asked her why she was lying to me, she began to cry....</p><p>&nbsp;They even told me that the cosmic circus would be on Sirius in 2005! Came&nbsp;as a shock to me.</p><p>OK - so the reason for this thread?</p><p>&nbsp; Any customer service horror stories out there? Ever busted someone for trying to take advantage of you? </p>

<p>They just told you Ron and Fez were coming to Sirius?&nbsp; And the other company told you Stern was moving to XM?&nbsp; How can they get away with that?&nbsp; That is just outright lying.&nbsp; I mean I know to get any sort of suit against them, you'd need the full name of the person you were talking to and all sorts of proof they said what they said, but what the fuck.&nbsp; To a Ron and Fez fan, that might have been their reason to go get Sirius, or the other way around for a Stern fan.&nbsp; </p><p>Sorry, I don't really have anything besides sitting on hold stories with customer service, so I wanted to comment on your story.</p>

I just wanted to add that
when you go and activate, save some money (and a HUGE headache) and
activate online.&nbsp; Should you ever want to call customer service
(which is outsorced to some dirt merchant country), have some aspirin
close by!!!<br />

Man, I try to cut EVERYONE out of the equation when I can.&nbsp; I love self check out at stores.&nbsp; I used the self service area of the Apple site when I sent my iPod in to be fixed.

Perry's absolutely right about doing it online. I've even added two radios and it's easy as sin, if you do it online.

while i have had no problems with XM costomer service (i have only
needed them to activate and switch radios) and never delt with
sirius... i have had a horrible experiance with just about every
company out there.... it even took people at sony 45 minutes to figure
out how to delete an entire disk on the HD minidisc... the problem with
the service is the god damn out sourcing to fucking india<br />

xms coustmer care is so awful that they havent billed me for the online service for 7 months.&nbsp; Ive been listening free online for half a year.&nbsp; They dont care they dont notice....I keep looking on my credit card i have registered for xm charges...nothing ever.&nbsp; and i can log in every mornign to hear o&amp;a and soon the boyz.&nbsp; ah....i love america. land of the free. and easy cliches. &nbsp; &nbsp;

also i dont have a physical unit i signed up for the online service only before some asshole jumps on the online is free for subscribers dumbass bandwagon....im missing quote marks but youll have to excuse me as that key is no longer working.
