Ok, who do YOU think makes the best Italian Ices? If I leave any out or you have a personal favorite that is omitted, vote Other and explain! -vs-

I would say Marinos But if it's got lots of crunchy ice on the bottom I don't really care who made it.

I like Rita's a lot, though I've also heard that Scara's is very good too.

Definitly Rita's ... plus it's the first place me and my girlfriend
went together. I guess you could say it was our first date. We go there
all the time. Chocolate Chip Mint Ice as well as the Misto Shake
Rule!!! Normally you would think Chocolate Chip Mint ice would be
disgusting but it is infact one of their best flavors. Awesome stuff!

Ciao Bella.

Sorry to get all uptown snooty here, but its the
best. You can find it in gourmet shops around the city, and at alot of
the best restaurants too. Expensive, but worth it. I actually went to
their plant once when it was on Mott St and saw the guys processing the
fresh fruit by hand. It doesn't get any better than that. They've since
gone national, and moved to NJ. So I dont know if its as good anymore.
I haven't had it in a few years. But the Lemon (Limone) was
ridiculously good.

I know this little place in White Plains that makes their lemon "water ice" home made. Damn fine stuff on a hot afternoon.
