I don't each much junk food, but I'll allow myself a pizza every week or two...but I'm sick of the chains. I live right on the Reston/Herndon border (by the Reston Town Center), and I'm dying for some decent pizza. Personally, I love the Chicago stuff, but I know that ain't happening around here, so let's go with NY style...anyone got any reccomendations? I'd prefer delivery, but take out would be fine...

I have been searching for decent pizza in the metro DC area since 1988. Still haven't found any.

Though I haven't tried it yet, I heard that Two Amy's in DC is supposed to be good. It's located off of Wisconsin Avenue near Cactus Cantina, just north of the National Cathedral.

It's so hard to find good pizza out here in San Diego. Who makes the best pizza out here? Surprise surprise, a little place in Pacific Beach called Hoboken Pizza.

The place I told Ron and Fez about is behind WJFK. Right next door to Burger King and The Breezeway Motel. It's on the same side of the street as Breezeway and Burger King. It has a nice outdoor seating section and the best pie I have ever had outside of Chicago and NYC.

The place Perry recommended, I KNOW the sign inside said "Angeli's" but when they were on the air it sounded like they said "Angelico's." We'll be going there again tomorrow and I'll get an exact name and address and post it here.

I can't speak for Chicago, but NY pizza isn't THAT good. Sure it's better then most of the Jersey shit I have to sift through of late. However, I'd put Hoboken Pizza, almost any shop, over anything I've had in NYC.

The best pizza I've ever had in my life, hands down, is in a little pizza hot spot in PA called Old Forge. In one little section of town they have a bunch of little shops that put all of NY, NJ and even Hoboken to shame. If you ever find yourself in the area, big if, make sure to check it out. It's a town that's still almost 100% Italian (some Polish I admit), and they might actually put coke in the sauce or something bc it's fucking addictive I kid you not.

Get your balls out of your purse and step up to flavor! With whale cancer! F yeah!

geez, I didn't want to see that. Maybe that's why they are
changing their name? When I was there last week, I did note that
the name on the signs, both inside and out, said "Angeli's," but the
name on the menu was "Angelico's." Sorry, I forgot to come back
and post the address, but it looks like it's there in SKW's link.

Well,
at least none of the health issues included anything about rat poop or
cockroaches. I think I can handle the other problems.

Sometimes the health codes can be so stupid. My place got nailed for storing bottles of bleach on the floor instead of on a shelf or pallet. What are they afraid of, the bleach will get dirty?
