<p>The first two seasons of Good Times is some of the best in 1970s television - before Jimmy Walker became the focus. Race stuff aside, in many ways it could be seen as a blue print for &quot;Roseanne.&quot; I loved the relationship between James and Florida (I think Amos was 10 or more years younger than Esther), and I think young Michael Evans is maybe the best, most original&nbsp;tv kid characters ever. </p>
