Fake Yankees fans

This really annoys me.  Everywhere I go all over the country, I run into these people who claim to be these die hard yankees fans, and yet they're not at all.  Just last night I was talking to this girl who was born and raised in LA, and she's trying to tell me how she's the world's biggest Yankees fan.  I kind of called her out on it though, without actually making it look like I was doing that.
