Scotland Yard also confirmed they were looking into an "incident" at University College Hospital, where armed officers have been deployed. Witnesses report policemen with flak jackets entered the hospital along with dogs.

I've noticed that most of the descriptions from eyewitnesses so far have the suspects with non-arab descriptions. Interesting...

I heard a report that it may have detonators that went off, with no explosives attached.  If that is true, well, then they're just toying with us.

I just checked, this was 2 weeks ago to the day.  What is it about terrorists and the need to have a type of significance to anniversarys? Its shame that this predictability in their behavior is something we keep overlooking and never seem to be able to prevent.  Or, are we preventing things that arent reported?

it's not overlooked. the alerts always go out before the
aniversaries of WTC bombing I, 9-11, the OKC bombing and Waco (same
day), etc...it's not overlooked, but this was unexpected. 2 weeks isn't an aniversary.

What I find odd, is to have so many bombs (was it 4 or 5?) all fail to function. Was it overall incompitence, or a scare tactict?  After all, one of the best ways for terrorists to terrorize, is to disrupt daily life.  This attack may have been an attempt to scare the population, rather than kill them.  Either way, it's bad.  What really sucks is, the number of truely dangerous people on this planet (be they muslim, christian, jewish...  whatever) are very few. The largest threat to peace in this world, is the fanatical people who realise, with a little charisma and cash, one can convince a few blind sheep to do one's bidding.  I'm really getting sick of the thousands of shitheads, in this world, that are making life Hell for the billions of the rest of us!

They screwed up. Wasnt just detenators, the explosives were there, but sounds like a bad batch of whatever they made to explode fizzled and smoked but didn't explode. Happens all the time with wannabe bomb-makers who don't know their chemistry.Yes, even terrorists get it wrong.
