first off, 2 of these "bets" were actually just dart games,
therefore measuring nothing of sports knowledge. and i really thought
hopkins was gonna do it, he waited too long to start fighting Beating Snoogans in a
sports bet is like beating a crippled retard in a boxing match.  Hardly
something to brag about, but I fully support this guys announcements  once
again i point out it was Wadd who said he doesnt resort to name calling
and actually makes serious points. This is like the 4th time he has

I would have to disagree.  Moe is admittedly not a sports guy hes a music guy which is cool.  His passion is his love for music why is it wrong for people to put the same amount of passion into the teams they cheer for?  And it annoys me that people refer to the teams they like and themselvees as we beat so and so, well no they did not we, but i understand why people get that way. Its called tolerance of each other and our likes and dislikes

There's nothing wrong with supporting and being passionate about your team.  I'm a Philadelphia sports fan and watch the games and go to them when I can.  I cheer.  I'm happy when they win and when they lose, well, *see Eagles past 4 seasons.But what I can't stand is the pre-game crap.Make all the picks you want.  Anaylize all the stats you want.  Crap out a magic 8 Ball and throw it against the wall if you want.  It all means dick.  "Any athelete or team could have a good or bad day suddenly and win or lose for no reason."That is the good point Moe made, sports hater or not.

Just real quick, I do understand that you all love Sports in a similar way that I love my music.  The "Sports are gay" thing was just a little jab that you all know me for throwing in.  Of course sprorts aren't gay, I just don't enjoy most of them.  If you do, hey.  It's America, and I want you all to live it up.  Watch a monkey try to fuck a football for 4 hours and call it a sport for all I care.But I stand by my statement about guys who get WAY into their teams, and people that gloat about random sport events.  The Mets and Yankees meet every year, and by rights the Yanks should win them all.  But they all put different players out, some guys have injuries, someone has a bad day, and the Mets end up winning.  That's my real point here.Acting like you're a far superior person because your team won, when you have ZERO to do with it is just retarded and I won't tolerate it.

I used to catch a game or two a week last season actually.  Something just didn't draw me this year with the Yankees, and still hasn't with their recent win streaks.I find it boring again.  No idea why.  And when I watched sports as an adult, Ive always liked the Yankees.

should beat the mets. But they play the games cause guys have good days

Jesus Bestinshow, don't get your panties in a bunch.  It's not my fault the Yankees have better players.  It's not my fault they have a dynasty to keep going.  It's not my fault that little kids grow up wanting just one thing: To be a Yankee.  Do the Yankees buy players?  Of course they do.  You know why they have more money to do it?  Because of their prestige and legend that has been built over the years.  You can thank guys like Ruth for the current Yankees having the money to build a great team.  You can also thank the many World Series wins.  The Mets just don't inspire as much as the Yankees do.  And you can stomp your feet all you like, it won't change a thing.  It's the reason they'll always be a great team and always have jealous fans hating them around the US, and world.

i dont care about anything he says, but if someone is going to attack
what i say, make sure you actually know what i said, and comment on
that. dont just assume because i didnt side with the mets, that im just
being a dick to the mets. against, i like the red sox, and would never

mets play in the NL east. nobody seems to want to win it. Your hottest

Ok first of all i would like to say that Snoogs has a lifetime pass on predictions beacuse he on july 25th 2004 when the sox were like 9 games out of the div and like 6 out of the Wildcard  guarenteed that the sox would win the World series. And 2nd i have known Snoogs for like 5 years now and he does not say anything that he truly does not believe in. and HE NEVER compliments the Yankees unless its drastic and he has to.

i should also say, i have talked to BIS on AIM, and he always flips
like this because whenever i critisize the mets, he acts like this and
like i hate them. If i tell him beltran is having a bad year, he would
do it. I critisize bad things every team does, it doesnt mean i hate
them. Im the first one to bitch about what the sox fuck up. He doesnt
scream at me for hating them.Its like talking to a guy who dates
a girl who is 300 pounds, and he asks me if i think she is overweight.
I say honestly yes, and he gets all pissed for callin his chick fat and
UGLY and STUPID and gross when all i did was say yes to his overweight
question. Thats bestinshow, and the mets are his 300 pound GF

I can definitely vouch for the fact that (1) Snoogans does not compliment the Yanks unless extreme circumstances are involved and (2) as long as there's no money on the line, Snoogans is very knowledgeable about whatever sport he opens his big, fat yapper about.  Oh yeah, and (3) this argument is tedious & silly & should have been over 15 posts ago.

pitching, minus clement, has been decent, and our bullpen sucks. our linup is like a red wood tree, compared to your lineup of a 15 foot christmas tree
