With the "in-house" stuff they've been churning out lately, Tom goes
to the mayor, Squidbillies, and that AWFUL 12 oz. mouse, they're MUCH
better off going out and getting 3rd party stuff. Then again, has there
EVER been a good cartoon based on a comic strip?

at least, I'm assuming Williams street has nothing to do with Boondocks, if they do, I'd worry.

They've
also gone out and gotten Anime for thier saturday block that are
somewhat past thier shelf life, Evangelion? what, 10 years after the
fact? Escaflowne? Glorified Giant robot anime? I think [AS], with the
exception of Robot Chicken, and the acquisition of Samurai Champloo,
has really underachieved in the past year or so.

Of course the New season of Harvey Birdman could rock, and prove me wrong, but I'm not holding my breath...
Sweet Queen Bee, I hope it comes quickly,
I hope your thoughts don't drift to me
I'll die in here, you now are free...

"Tom Goes To The Mayor" isn't done by the Williams Street crew...it's two guys that Bob Odenkirk of "Mr. Show" found...

And yeah, it blew the first few weeks, but I actually have really liked the last couple of new episodes. I think there's hope for it...
